NOW AT LAST GOT THE ALBUM , Rough Trade had two copys of last years re issue so after selling my original back in 1983 and then trying to rplace it all this time i now have it again but with all the bonus tracks , still have my orginal singals . As for they fecker on amazon with the copy of the CD for 300 pounds lol . can't see that selling now , Will upload all tarcks soon

Cheers Moe- this has put a big smile on my face. I spoke to someone from Cherry Red last week about the Pleasure cd. There has been some last minute problems with it, but they still hope to get it released by the end of this year. Apparently in addition to the tracks on the previous CD release it will also have the John Peel session from 1981.

This is such an awesome song/band. I was just listening to Pleasure during this exact song, and thought "hey, let me check if there's any Girls at our Best on Youtube" and so wierd - same song! Thanks for posting. I lost my first CD but just bought one on ebay last week. Not cheap.

All fans from "The Residents", and there are quite a lot, remember this brilliant guitarist. And back to GAOB, OK, their music's and energy were great, but I wouldn't bet that their influence on modern pop bands can be compared to Gang of Four, Buzzcocks, XTC, Chameleons, and so on.

At last ! Someone has posted "Girls at Our Best"! Thank you ! I saw them live at Aberdeen in Scotland in 1981 and they were great. I can't get hold of the "Pleasure" CD or any of their stuff for love nor money. Any chance of posting any more of their songs?

I don't think 'Pleasure' is out on cd (as yet). But I'm as glad as you are there's finally some GAOB! at YouTube. Now I hope the floodgates will open (well, just some live footage or clips of 'Politics' or 'Fast Boyfriends' will do! <3).

Sadly I don't think there is any live footage. "Pleasure" was released on CD in 1994, and I saw someone trying to sell one for £285 recently but much as I like GAOB I'm not paying that ! I e-mailed "Cherry Red Records" asking about a CD re-issue, but they haven't answered.

I'm glad I still have the vinyl album. One of these days I'm going to buy one of those handy turntables with a USB plug, so I can make MP3's out of 'Pleasure' as I play it.
