  • this is the 99 Problems/Points of Authourity version from Collision Course?

  • "Battlefield 3" brought me here

  • erinnert mich an einige partys ♥

  • @themacbox sure, i was thinking "i've heard that guitar riff before"

  • Best performance of this song ever? Whitest audience for this song ever?

  • totally ripped it from jay gonzalez. he does the frog face

  • @themacbox yes, we did ;))

  • it should be i got 99 problems and the bitch is 1 lool good song doh

  • damn, i luv him!!!!!

  • jools holland has the best artists on his shows love it!

  • hahah its a linkinpark riff hahah

  • this shit straight ill, jigga fuckin rippin it, true hip hopper

  • Is there some kind of track in the background of this? Parts of it sound a lot like the record.

  • @DisposableHeroes0 the hook i guess is sometimes playbacked ;)

  • @DisposableHeroes0

Yep , he uses a backing track, which is not uncommon for live bands,

it just fills up the "empty" background.

  • sounds better with the linkin park bit! in my opinion

  • i love this song anyway, but with a proper band and everything? so much better!

  • yes this is good but what has everyone been doing since Run DMC had a "proper band" behind them in 1986?

  • Jay-Z sounds amazing because of where he is , Jools Holland show .. us Brits know how to do thing properly !

  • Quality performance!!.....also Freshlines means 'he's the shit' i.e he's 'quality!'

  • I really hope that every rapper starts to use a proper backing band playing live instruments, no idea why they didn't always do that anyway. I also hope that people carry on writing good rap like this, and not all this shit about clubs/dancefloors, and Swawty, who ever that is.

  • Tony Royster Jr <3

  • @tommoboy9 is that him???? huh??....

  • Jay-z has and always will be the shit, period

  • @Freshlinens Somehow i don't think he minds you think he's shit.

  • @Freshlinens What an insightful comment. Oh wait, no it wasn't.

  • keeps getting better sing linkinpark collide with his music this one has got more throttle and the melody is really like 50-50 LP and JAY-Z.

  • hahaaaaa this is badass lol

  • I like the original beat more than the Linkin Park remix, but both sound sick with the live band.

  • I like him using the LP songs..

  • hey jay-z is bad ass through and through no bullshit.

  • damn.....this sounds so good live and a band!

  • This completely owns his Glastonbury performance.

  • rappers like shite, all sampling and cheatin & shit,..but this a very basic & live all good gig,,on & in the uk..stepped up to the mark did Jay-Z

  • That was fucking SICK.

  • rick rubin

  • This is ...amazing :|

  • check out my remix of the tune

  • i hate it that rocked up just let the fuckin song be itself

  • love the transitions!!! wow great like he did it linkin style!!!

  • yo, i see Jay-z always wear black clothes on stage perfomace live... pretty shit

  • sounds brilliant with the band!

  • fukin top remix

  • OMG i love this remix with linkin musik!!!make my hair stand up!!! i love you jay!!!

  • has he mixed the one step closer riff like in collision course? Seems to go with the song better lol AWESOME song anyways tho =D

  • @TheChesneyChrist I think it's Points Of Authority, but it's still awesome!

  • best version of this ive heard, the drummer is ace, much better live than all the pre-recorded rubbish rappers are using now

  • all 3 brothers they let in to the jools holland show musta gone crazy

  • now i ent keen on rappin but

dizzee and jay-z is and exception

  • Class

  • aha yeah aha yeahh

  • One cool version. Damn this boy can rap!

  • It's so much better with the backing of a proper band.

  • Damn, This is hot.

Jay sounds better on this show then i've ever heard him on any award show. Then again I can't recall many of those

  • i dont know why but almost everything sounds better on jools?

  • I think its cool how he kept the LP riff in this song

  • masterclass in drumming. Tony Royster, Jr killing it...

  • blackdragondiscos- you are joking about the John Cena thing aren't you? Because it says "now i ain't trynna see no highway chase with Jay". Not anything about John Cena

  • fuckin amazing love the linkin park bit :P

  • Saw him at Wembley with Coldplay and this was the best song of the set. I reckon this is one of the best versions of it I've ever seen- its got a really live raw feeling to it and, the thing that sets him apart from most other rappers is the live band and rock'n'roll swagger. Also, love the metal riff over the top of the second verse, anyone know what it is?

  • Its a Linkin Park song i think?!

  • It's from the Collision Course album, the MTV Mashup that teamed him and Linkin Park up.

Points of Authority is the song

  • he mentions john cena at 1.07 :D

  • watched this on bbc last night and it blew me away! im not a fan of jayz but he did a great job with this!

  • I could be Jay Z's drummer.

  • you could be his bitch, maybe

  • me 2 this song is hella easy

  • jools holland should have played boogie woogie piano on this.

  • 1:07 is mental
