I really hope that every rapper starts to use a proper backing band playing live instruments, no idea why they didn't always do that anyway. I also hope that people carry on writing good rap like this, and not all this shit about clubs/dancefloors, and Swawty, who ever that is.
blackdragondiscos- you are joking about the John Cena thing aren't you? Because it says "now i ain't trynna see no highway chase with Jay". Not anything about John Cena
Saw him at Wembley with Coldplay and this was the best song of the set. I reckon this is one of the best versions of it I've ever seen- its got a really live raw feeling to it and, the thing that sets him apart from most other rappers is the live band and rock'n'roll swagger. Also, love the metal riff over the top of the second verse, anyone know what it is?
this is the 99 Problems/Points of Authourity version from Collision Course?

Is there some kind of track in the background of this? Parts of it sound a lot like the record.
DisposableHeroes0 1 year ago
@DisposableHeroes0 the hook i guess is sometimes playbacked ;)

@DisposableHeroes0
Yep , he uses a backing track, which is not uncommon for live bands,
it just fills up the "empty" background.
JoyC666 10 months ago
sounds better with the linkin park bit! in my opinion

Tobstah101 1 year ago
