Berklee is not a "scam" if you work hard and have your shit together. if you slack off and are "coked up", which i'm assuming @whatisthescore was, of course you're not going to get anything out of Berklee. Just being at Berklee does not mean you're going to succeed!

@Whatisthescore Have you been to Berklee? How do you know this? I personally know a lot of people who have used Berklee as a stepping stone to reach their full potential and are now big influences in the music industry. It's all about how much of YOUR hard work and determination you put into it. Anyone can get into Berklee and just go through the classes, but its the ones who go home to study, practice, and network who "make it".

Yup he is! Only went two semesters (one year) and then moved to Atlanta where he released his first album shortly afterward.

Very understandable, yet every musician wants to be a virtuoso at some point in their life. There was a point where virtuosity was the expectation and not just song writing. It still exists but somehow virtuosity is shunned by modern musicians for the sake of popularity and fortune.

Because his seaRch to be the best is not unreachable because there are players out there that are considered to be the best in there particular genre. e.g malmsteen(Practiced 8 hours a day 24/7),trucks,vaughan.If every one had that attitude then the artform would not move on you must push yourself to be the best .

Thanks...but the thing is I have a Mac - and all this rotating software is either for windows or it wasn't compatible. I tried BitPlayer, and it didn't work, it keeps shutting down before I can save anything =[
