  • ahh i have to miss inform you but AIM was not officially organized at the time of this occupation. i was a child who spent the entire 19 months on the island and later grew to be the director of all so cal aim under fern mathias. it all began in an anthropology class at sfsu and there was only two occupations the first one lasted a month. i knew richard as a young man he is one of my idles- he fought for our people and showed us a way to be young men like our ancestors to be self determined

  • AIM had absolutely nothing, NOTHING, to do with the 1969-71 Indian occupation of Alcatraz island. Please get it straight people.
