Other people lack to power to make other sane, only God can do that.

But a lot of people think they are God.

I've tried suicide 2 an have been saved by my best friend 2 she's there every minute for Me. I don't know were I'd be now if it wasn't for her being the one in the crowd to help me^ stand up when everyone was pushing Me^ down. I could be dead now but I'm not and I have a man that loves me^ SO much and friends that care and a family that helps when I need it the most. I know now that I love living most of the time and I can't hurt others for Me^ being selfish and wanting to end it. I have to thi

Too often it seems to be young people taking their own lives and it breaks my heart. My brother took his own life at the age of 18,and she is right. Its hard to relate to others that havent gone through this. They may want to help but in the end the just can't understand the amount of guilt and what ifs that follow a suicide. In February 2011 it will be 2 years that my brother has been gone and even now everyday is a struggle. I see his pic and I break down.

Suicide is the ultimate act of selfihness, thats the real illness.

Its the complete engulfing of the self by the ego.

I've been there and recovered.

I am a recovered addict, by the grace of God ( and nothing else).

@jonesgerard your fucking stupid..I have been suicidal before, and it definitely was not a result of me being selfish or cowardly; more so, a result of extreme depression and a feeling of desperation that I must put an end to. People who deem it as "selfish" probably have never been suicidal before--it's like they know nothing about it to make a comment like that--actually, that's a good way to make a suicidal person feel even worse about their self.

I have been suicidal, I speak from experience.

I suffered extreme depression, medication did not stop me.

God freed me from the bondage to self, ego was the enemy.

You can;t see it because you can't see you.

There is no God pill.

@jonesgerard nope Depression is a problem in itself and people who don't suffer with it are the ones who are being selfish because they don't want to deal with your depression. i have major depression and social anxiety, and im a loving caring person and my family, friends , people around me know that for sure, so tell me does that make me selfish? please enlighten me ......

My Prayers as a mother I too lost a daughter to suicide November 2007 she hanged herself on a tree approximately 1/2 mile from my house. The stigma of suicide is terrible the first thing I heard was I though she was a good mother. And there is no blame it was their choice to end their life. No should of would of or could of. Remember only GOD can help you heal and talk about it to others who are going through depression.

I lost my common law husband just 2 wks ago. He shot himself in the head. He suffered for a long time with depression addiction I tried for years to help him I never believed he could do this I have so much guilt our last day together was our 12th anniversary I can't believe he left meI' m so scared lonely I don't know if i can live here. now his mom will own the house and she blames me I have no where to go no money and no friends.i isolated with him the last year. I too suffer from depression.

I, too, lost someone to suicide. My half-sister committed suicide last February (Feb. 2007). She set her place on fire with herself in it. She had gotten back on drugs and such. So, sad.

after a long convo with my friend, about some... bad things.. i decided 2 go on youtube and search on depression.. and suicide... I found this video... and it made me break down into tears.. To hear Linda talk about this... really reminded me of the things i might never even considered.. like the people you could end up leaving behind...

Suicide should always be taken seriously. Depression should always be taken seriosly.

I'm sorry for your lost. I just recently (yesterday 1/1/08) lost one of my friends to sucide.
