Wow, that was a bad approach. I guess he thinks he's in an F-16 or something. He totally overshot final, he'll be dead one of these days because of his lack of piloting skills and judgement.
From the position he was in, he shouldn't have tried to salvage the approach (go around?) Besides, he got way too low with a huge rate of descent close to the ground. Like I said, he'll be dead one day because of his lack of piloting skills and judgement.
Thats how we do it in Canada...no time to fuck around...gettin err donneeee haha. Looked safe to me. Im sure the moose and the beaver in the woods would concur.
I'm sure you don't represent everyone in Canada and definately not the opinions of a professional pilot. No time to f*** around? I would say that maneuver would fall into the high risk, low reward category.
My Sarcasm sucks...I thought the moose/beaver thing would give it away...I was being sarcastic/silly. I definatley wouldnt do it, your right it does look a little unsafe, so I do agree. But we werent there and we cant really comment I would say. Maybe the man in the igloo on the side of the runway filming can give his opinion.
Well each to there own. I'm sure there is more to the clip that you don't see before, as to why he is in the position he is in before he turns a tight final
Probably because he/she thinks he/she's Top Gun or is trying to impress someone. Soon to be another statistic, soon to be destroyed 206 or whatever he/she happens to be flying, and last but not least, higher insurance premiums for everyone

That was not wing tip vortices!
pilotGA 3 years ago
OK, it was the snow kicked up by the plane being shaped by the vortices. That is what was meant.
mi24hind 3 years ago
so where were these wing tip vortices you speak of?
4wheeldrifting 3 years ago
first seen at 41 seconds in the snow kicked up by said vortices

hahaha do you know him or something?
It's not bad for an S turn onto final from the position he was in.

Yea, I usually miss sarcasm unless I'm actually talking to someone.

I just finally noticed it was a 360 descent (crappy monitor), your right (no sarcasm). Too low to be making turns like that where I come from.

The aspect/angle of the clip makes the a/c look a lot lower to the ground than what it is.

What about the clip looks bad... the aspect of the clip makes the a/c look a lot lower to the ground than what it is.
