  • Interesting. as the world has seen in Estonia 2007 and Georgia 2008. Russia is well versed in the art of cyberwarfare.

  • yeah well they may wreak havoc in the USA private industry but when they can hack say....the west point network they will be news but until then there just a bunch of russian "brainiacs" who can hack home networks and maybe small buisnesses

  • west point is a joke compared to whom? Who r u to say that west point full of "noobs"? Ur probably too stupid to know how hard it is to get accepted into west point military academy. U have to be top of your class and extremely active in sports. West Point cadets are very smart & physically strong. Once the cadets graduate, they will be 2nd lieutenants of the US Army. By that time, wut would u have accomplished? Be4 you call them "noobs", u should look into ur life and see wut u accomplished.

  • I'll keep my spot at West Point... you can have your seat in front of the computer trolling on videos, you asshole

  • Hah, if you knew anything about real hacking, you'd realize that the most skilled hackers are in small groups, and the only instance where they would work for a gov't is if they were caught.

I'd love to watch Russian hackers, by far the best in the world to wreak havoc upon the USA, just to show idiots like you that West Point "hackers" don't know shit compared to the best.

  • The point of teaching it at West Point isn't to have us be the best hackers the world has ever seen but give us the knowledge to combat them. But, there are idiots like you who insist that West Point is only full of morons and gangstas, because of course, America ONLY has those. Get out of your small world you little prick and figure out that no one cares if you're the best if your only point in life is to piss off everyone else. Our country has lots of flaws, so do lots of other countries

  • really what do u do thats better...work at mcdonalds and masturbate evry night?

  • @AsianAssassin117 Hah, couldn't be farther from the truth buddy :)

  • ronaldo

  • The video game geek finally created a job still using they joystick...LOL. the gun was made for hunting to feed, now it protects by bring wars. Cyber (gun) protection?. The cyber war will create the ultimate cyber-RAT. Are you protect what guarantee?..death and suffering. The RFID will bring all the comfort/evil control to the one who support it. Hate will never die, Beware of what you support. Spy vs Spy or spy hunter are excellent video game.

  • Maybe they should use macs

  • windows is better

  • The point I was trying to make is that there is far too much information out there for anyone to be good at everything. It is an absolute necessity that we become highly specialized professionals. A highly specialized IT Security person does not need to be able to run 6 minute miles, he doesn't need to play a sport, he doesn't need to be proficient with any firearms, and so forth. West Point is looking to churn out well rounded athletic soldiers with leadership skills. Leave the IT to us.

  • This is all very interesting and I think a necessary part of training but I thought the video said cyborg foes...

  • come and watch my video of my son his name is Baby Alex and he's in the hospital right now

the video you are watching i gave it 5 stars

  • What they are being trained is on how to set up a secure network in a combat situation. Information is more crucial now then ever and a single entry point into a system can compromise an entire network. As a civilian computer expert who has no interest in getting shot at while setting up a secure network. I think this is absolutely imperative training for our troops. Way to go West Point!

  • Them Chinese own at hacking

  • for everyone who is saying that this is just a waste of time, it's not, there's a lot of technology that goes into the military i mean how would we know about all the terrorists and stuff, there's a lot of stuff we wouldn't know if the men and women in the military didn't deal with computers

  • nerds in uniform

  • those nerds can beat the fuck outta your f.ing useless body

  • We are a military family and my father and sister as both West Point graduates, but this is stupid and a waste of tax payer dollars. Hacking and cyber security is a very specialized skillset and the well rounded (by curriculum necessity) West Point cadets are the completely wrong culture to attract those kinds of geeks. If there were anything that should be privatized and left a civilian job in the military, this is it. This is a waste of tax payer dollars and military officer skillset.

  • ok. lets leave the robotics, IT, and science to the civilians!! Because there geeky!

Take a look around man, technology is the only possible way forward soon there wont even be rubber neck soldiers running around for the officers to lead.

What Westpoint needs is to cover all bases, not get stuck in the 17th century with 16th century training.

  • Yes actually, and what is wrong with that? There is work that serves a military purpose that can be achieved more effectively by specialized civilians (like me, heh), as they don't require any military command training to master the specialty. Civilians are designing and building nearly every weapons system out there already as an example, so there is no reason especially for domestic IT infrastructure security to not simply access the professionals that specialize in that. =)

  • When you put an apostrophe in "its" as you did, you are saying "it is."

This is what you meant to type: "Ignorance at its finest."

I guess this makes YOU pretty ignorant! Ha ha ha!!!

  • you retard lol

  • ... Yeah right its just a big undercover LAN party -_-

  • ADDICTING GAMES at 0:30 FTW!!

  • Too bad hackers work alone. Cracking is an art and you can't teach it in a class. You must be talented. This ethical hacking bulsh*t had been going around for years but it's seldom that it actually prevents or protects against attack cause a cracker is called a cracker because he uses innovative(new) ways of getting beyond network security, ways which these folks will never understand.

  • I'm sure people that work at the NSA and pentagon etc... who do this would probably disagree with you. And im sure your way smarter than people in the military that do this and they never realized what your saying because they are so dumb....... stfu

  • cool

  • bullshit. sounds like training them to get at freedom fighter websites, and malitia groups. Anti-gov people. Fuck Obama

  • Download free MP3 at freemp3.happyhour4all(.)com

  • what happened to Babu? I don't see any indians in that crowd. they must suck.

  • americans are dum

  • these hot guys should be working out, would be a much better use of their time. leave the hacking to nerds who happen to be in the military :)

  • My son was advising me on this last week.

  • This is a good idea. Maybe I could get into this...

  • That's pretty sweet.

  • sounds interesting:D

  • awsome! im glad are military are takeing the internet seriousley...we are still behind china in training, and manpower but hopefully we can make up in skill and more advance technolagey

  • I know they're tested by the NSA, but your average 14 year old can pop in some 0-day code into Metasploit and cripple systems just as much. I wonder to what extent the tests are. We need the best of the best, or taxpayer dollars are flushed down the commode.

  • these men are sarcrificing their lives to defend our country, and you, a fat ass bitch on his ass, think that you have the authority to criticize them. shame on you.

  • how is playing counter strike all day qualify "sarcrificing their lives"..

Just saying it looked like D2 1.6 in one of the monitors..

  • LOL sarcrificing their lives sitting behind a keyboard. They'll never see combat.

The only thing they are sarcrificing is the time they spend hacking P/C games.

I was laughed at when i say they were going to start up some program like this 7 yeras ago. when the military started allowing hackers and cheaters play on their servers.(America's Army)

Their new logo was, "Be The Best Damn Cheater You Can Be".

  • you obviously are of the uninformed type. west point grads are obligated to serve 5 years of active duty, so don't spread your fucking garbage that they'll never see combat. attack the policeman because "They'll never see combat." attack the fireman because "They'll never see combat." attack almost every citizen because "They'll never see combat." and then attack soldiers who fight for us because "They'll never see combat." yeah, that makes a lot of sense. just think about that.

  • You're a fool, angleboot. The 'America's Army' PC game is entirely different from what these guys are doing. These students are learning real network skills preventing real hackers. They aren't little kids playing with silly web-bought game cheats.

  • i'm not talking aboutjust playing the game you dumb ass. But used the game to find these worthless hackers. These 18 year olds were 10 when the game came out.

But budbrother does have a ever good point. one at that time would have never though of. or ever would have thought a DEM president would allow to happen.

  • Calm down you dumbshit fool. Read before you react. I work as a network administrator for a software development company, and was just wondering to what extent they're tested and with what. I wasn't criticizing them. And while you're sitting there playing internet tough-guy, I'll have you know I'm in damn good shape :P Stupid fucking kids.. take your A.D.D. meds.

  • One team was disqualified when they accidentally spilled Mountain Dew on their keyboard and fried the computer.

  • are you fucking stupid?

  • umm

    fuck you?

  • ...waay to be stereotypical

  • actually you in bulgaria have so few computers that even the government has no computers and therefore they dont have to worry about that...

but as far as america goes... they are so interlinked with each other and they have so much it shit that they would be the easiest hurt with hackers... its the same as IED, if you cant fight them this way.. try another one to hurt them... and i love bulgaria i was just kidding... i love Sofia a lot.. been there very often...

  • It may seem silly but it is real. 2 yrs ago after the Bronze Soldier riots in Tallian Est., Estonia's network was hit by a seies of cyber attacks (no one knows who done it but some point to Russia) which paralyzed its system for weeks. So troops feel they will have to be ready for anything, I know it does seem silly but they said the same about planes in war a cent ago now they are a fact of war.

  • so..you're saying that they should just let people hack into the US?

  • yes socialists have common sense which is destroy wealth creation wow you are smart. We train our soldiers this way so your country doesn't have to because you are a defenses and useless country that hitler took over without any problems.

  • Interesting.
