this is like an aural Matey bubblebath. The special christmas bottles, not the bog standard "Blue Sailor" ones. this was long before your woman Matey came along with her unbridled feminist ways, teaching young girls about bubbles.
In my opinion, drums are a little bit "unpleasant to your ears" only to make you appreciate more all the stuff behind. Try to understand how music is made before complaining about "IDM obsessions". And enjoy ;-)
@shaft9000 Sorry, shaft9000, but I can't agree with you.The drums are working perfect (of course, they conform to "lame" standards of IDM but here they really fit). The synth is amazing and my spine shivers everytime I listen to it. Which Eno's track do you mean? That would be interesting for me to compare and see if it's a "rip-off" or just coincidence / inspiration

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I hate to come off as being negative, but the drums are whack. Enough with this thoroughly lame IDM obsession with 'clicks' !
Drums sounding like a swarm of typewriters is not progress, kids.
other than that, the synth pad is outright rip-off Eno.
Not at all moving or "profound" except to the unaware.
Please try again.
