@caldazsheep I'm atm 1780, my highest was ~1875. My name is Visuder at hon also =) And I don't think MoA is OP at all, nor RA. EW is little over others, but that doesn't mean you can't win against EW -.- It has overall like 60% win chance so, it's only little over half of the games..

@Visuder of course you can win, but its OP, and i think RA is OP too, its a strenght hero that gets real tanky, and have 2 AoE skills that gives more magic damage than pyro, and stuns people. Both heroes have win rates higher than 56% and NO OTHER HERO is this high. this really means something. Most heros are close to 50%, varying to 48~52, and only shitty heroes are under 45%. And the thing is S2 games wasnt doing nothing to balance the game. The last patch was good...lets hope they fix it more

@caldazsheep Remember that the overall winning percent counts these 1600 tier and below that, all the shitty tiers. RA Is so easy to play, and the lower tier people are just having a hard time to counter it in earlygames. Ofc he is OP when you give him 15/0/0 in the first 10min, but it doesn't mean that it's OP. And the stun is easy avoidable. Haven't seen RA that much in 1800tier and above, since actually he isn't that good, and ulti is countered with nullfire/MB already.

@caldazsheep I absolutely agree with you, Ra is such a powerful hero from earlygame on, he gets so much livereg and its so easy to farm with him, his spells deal so much dmg, he doesnt rely on mana and the cds of his 2 aoe spells are not very high.

EW is not that op in my opinion, because if you dont have a good start u will barely get a comeback...

To make it short, s2 used to talk and listen to the community in beta stages. After the beta, s2 is going on about what ever they want. Like that goblin shop, which really does not improve the game. Map editor, but no one can play their maps even with friends. DREAM hero design site, but not many people's ideas have been implemented. Lastly, a hero design contest, where "they" picked the finalists. Dont u find every concept ironic?

True i agree with you on every level on this matter. But you have to see this from several points of views. DOTA didn't have expenses. HoN does. They need to have an income, not only from buying the game 1 time. You see they host the servers, which mean in the long term they need to earn money aswell. And they have employees aswell, which dota didn't have many of atleast. Anyhow, all in all it's about money :)

What I feel is that they can make the game playable in LAN. But you need to be connected to the internet to do so. All games played on LAN can use its own map(this solves map editor prob), but is only no stat. Now increase the perks for people who play on thier server, this will also make ppl play on S2 server. As for DREAM, is has completely failed.

First of all. They won't have anything to do with DOTA. DOTA is owned by Valve now. You say they should make it for LAN gameplay? But they won't do that. Think about it. How much money have Blizzard lost or could have earned if WC3 needed a internet connection? S2 is smart, they released the game on the internet. So people needed to buy the game. And i understand you, when you say Dota was for the people. But HoN and DOTA or two completely different siuations. Bomb was from DREAM. =)

@HASLUM I am not sure if u know this, but there r private servers 4 playing HoN. The only problem with them is that all game contents r hacked & released much l8r than the genuine HoN. And frm what I've seen, many ppl r using such private servers. So how much $ do u think S2 is loosing thru such servers? Another interesting aspect of these private server is that every game content is free, as they just expect some donations 4 wat they do.

Also just 1 hero from an entire idea(DREAM) is lame, imo.
