  • Hey mark. Happy new year for yo and your family. I will do like i told you the frame in carbon fiber, Well u think its too risky do make the fork in carbon fiber?? here in brazil the taxes are huge, so i need to make it right at the first time, just the Carbon Fiber Fabric will cost 200 dollars. And you worked with what temperature? thanks

Happy New Year to you too! I know the trike and recumbent guys sometimes build their own forks so it can be done safely. I don't mind crashing but endoing terrifies me. And since you can find a decent fork for $100 here in the US, building one wasn't a risk I wanted to assume at the time. I think I'd feel more comfortable building one now that I've got a bit more experience but it's a fairly complex component.

I build my bikes in the summer when the temp is around 80 to 100 deg F.

  • 54 cms perhaps?

  • @snapoutovitnow

Yes, it's pretty much a 54cm frame with exception to the stand-over which is a little taller.
