actually @gothantichav this is an Christian hard rock band from nashville tennesse, they are considered Christian. They have won the Grammy Award and a was nominated for Best Rock Gospel Album. Just letting you know.

I do take that back, they are religious, but they do it in a very clever double-meaning way ususally with love and God, that's why it never occured to me that they were religious.

Still, enjoy the song for what it is and however you interpret it, it is a musical masterpiece :D

@xsuperweirdkidsx it pretty much is, but it also plays off of the Divine Comedy "Dante's Inferno," which is about Dante's travel through hell and back out...pretty cool, you should look it up if you're interested :D

I love Red and I'm not even Christian, I'm Catholic. I don't go around judging people by their religion. The important thing is that people have some kind of faith that they can look to in times of need and support. Something that they can believe in.

I don't see why it matters so so much to some people on here but this band is not a Christian band. At no point do they mention God or anything religious, their genre is Ambient Hard Rock/Post Grunge. I'm not entirely sure where Red got this stigma attached to them from, and even if the guys are religious, that should have no impact whatsoever to fans, they aren't preachy so the anti religious shouldn't be put off and they don't slate it either.

Listen and appreciate, Red rule, Christian or not.

They mention themselves as being christian but when compared to other bands who are not christian, u see that they carry the message of christ w/out even mentioning it a single word of God or Christ by references and symbolism.
