This is NOT your country. THE UNITED STATES, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, USA AND U.S.A(not to be confused with the federated republic formed by the Constitution) are trademarks of The District of Columbia, a Crown Corporation which entered into co-rule with Washington City with the District of Columbia Organic Act of 1871.
I had forgotten about this after they got a little silly on a later song. Mellencamp and Lockhart were singing along...and I was like "PLEASE turn off that microphone"
If you think that this concert was rubbish then think again! I geuss you are not sophisticated enough to enjoy a concert like this. if you live in Boston then you might as well be packing your bags because true Bostonians (like mhyself) can truly enjoy an experience such as this. >:(
Rubbish! For the 350,000 slobs that went to last nights 4th of July concert, pick up after yourselves. It is costing taxpayers money for other people to clean up your mess. And I have better things to do on the 4th than have no life by sitting on some lawn for 14 hours to hear that Liberal John Mellencamp sing.- If that is what you want to call it! PLUEESE!
Well, it still prices in at somewhat less than the $86 gazillion (and counting) that the Idiot Prince's fabulously successful war in Iraq is costing. And what's "PLUEESE" ????

Awesome!! Does anyone have coverage of John Mellencamp and Kid Rock doing "Pink Houses" at the post 911 "Concert for New York City"
Saw it televised but did'nt get a chance to tape it. It was spine tingling given the audience and the atmosphere.

John Mellencamp is indeed a national treasure as well as the Boston Pops. Who needs fireworks after watching this performance?
