  • they inspireme so much.. people we got o much to do as christian.. we can be passionate about JESUS if you could only back to core values of what He wants us to do!!

  • Some of the comments on this video are O.o Some Christians are so weird

  • Keith Green did not tickle itching ears as u see most preachers on T.V doing today. There are few who even preach the truth now.. Great Falling away... To bad people focus more on what the churches can do then on what Jesus can truly do in their lives and families lives.. You know Paul sold tents for a living and gave the word freely. Keith Green when alive was convicted of selling his music and stopped, what is done today he cannot control, because he is with Jesus now.. Praise God 4 this man

  • God raises up those who will speak the truth, his music spoke truth for us today... Almost like a prophet for our day. His words are solely on how we need to be with Christ. he got close enough to Jesus to know how we needed to walk.. John the baptist rose to the top and was killed, the disciples rose to the top and were killed, through out the bible Gods people who truly served him rose to the top and were killed. Keith Green is being killed now though he is dead. Thank you Jesus for this man

  • we need a generation who is going to stand up for the true Gospel of Jesus Christ! Lord rise up more people like this man who you blessed with the ablilty to reach the lost and seeeking and ones on fire for the Lord who desrie more to walk with Jesus them selves

  • Melody Green is so lucky to piggyback off this talented guy.

  • any keith tapes or videos please send me a copy at cjk9013@yahoo.com - his preaching and stories is what I am looking for. We all knew he was special, but his preachng was considered harsh by some - not me!! Please share whatever you may have. Love in His Name, Chris

  • Melody was trying to speak and the interviewers kept interrupting her.

  • Praise the Lord! I accidently came across your youtube videos for Keith Green. Me and my twin brother went to several Jesus Festivals in Mt Union Penn. in the late 70s. We were both young believers at that time. It was cool to see him playing in front of the young people on you tube knowing that we were there...I believe that we were actually there in that crowd. We also went to Fishnet 77. The Lord brought awakening to all of us at the Jesus 77 festival after he played. Steven and Alan Burns

  • I believe that what tormented Keith was the fact that he could not reach all the people he wanted to. He loved the people and was hurt when they refused to turn to the Lord. Melody is doing what is necessary to raise funds to keep the ministry going. His message cut and still cuts to the heart of cold blooded christians. The type of christian who prays, "Lord help this sinner and met his needs." Never realizing that the person offering up the prayer is the person who is supposed to help.

  • I really am not a fan of keith Green anymore, but I used to be...I see people who serve God, and they don't need hit records, or fame, or 160 acre ranches and airplanes,...Jesus never did anything like this--Jesus shunned fame. People used to Ask Keith how to make it big in Christian Music--and he would tell them they should want to be the local street preacher...but today, Melody is out of the spotlight....and making a movie about Keith. What about being the local street preacher for her?

  • god bless you melody green i was 22 years old when he died i had'nt heard of Keith at the time of his death, but i was a christian though just a baby christian.a friend handed me a cd of keith i have been hooked ever sense.no matter how down i get i can listen to his music and i get raised up and almost always the lord speaks to me.its amazing that his music still speaks to people.

  • I don't think the issue is Keith Green's vices. He loved God and served Him with his whole heart and the fruit not only remains but increases. I think that is what should be centered up on.

  • I got the Keith Green "The Live Experience" about a couple months ago now I guess & the DVD has been my player ever since! Very powerful - thank you Lord!

  • Would you consider Moses a prophet? He had a major anger issue. King David? Well, I guess some would day he stuggled with issues too. Be careful about judging people because of their issues. It is those things that Paul says refines us. : ) Remember, LOVE covers a multitude of sin.

  • You still have alot to repent of there Melody! Your fear of ROME!

  • the oral history is an old afrikan tradition. i gained so much in listening. he and mike warnke and honeytree were some of my earliest christian music recollections after my conversion

  • @Ghoulardifan some would say Moses, Paul, Jeremiah, even God had anger issues...the issue is sin and you should get angry ..Jesus was. So what was your point Ghoulardifan?

  • sounds like you might have some issues maybe???

    Case wide OPEN!

  • @Ghoulardifan Thank you for this comment. I've admired Keith for years, but have come to a similar conclusion. I wasn't aware he had anger issues; I suspect he had control issues. I'm convinced, from something I heard him say on another video, that he had hypocrisy issues. He brought it up in a concert.

I'm tired of people calling him a prophet. As I've re-listened to his criticisms of the Church, I'm seeing that they were just criticisms with very little redemption, grace or mercy.

  • @xander7ful

Kind of wonder what you are talking about--but I am really not a big fan of Keith's anymore--I see him involved in the comercialization of christianity as much as anybody he ever criticized

  • @GiantColoringBook When I mentioned Keith having control issues, I was just referring to comments in Melody's book, where he called and apologized to people before he died about how he'd been heavy-handed in his ministry. Keith himself mentioned repenting of hypocrisy in a concert. I agree with you comments on not needing fame or perks. I find it suspicious that a guy who was Christian only 8 yrs rose to the top that quickly.

  • @xander7ful "suspicious"? how so - Peter and all the other disciples were Christian's only months before they rose to the top. Should we be suspicious of their ministries?

  • @GiantColoringBook He is not involved in com, he is dead, he was a man who truly loved God &

didn't sell his music when he was alive, the Lord convicted him that Jesus should be given freely. What is done now is out of his hands. I did not like Keith Green when I first heard him but the Lord showed me he was a true man of God who was very much in love with Jesus & speaking the truth in his music. It has nothing 2 do with cont. music either, it was he put his heart & soul into which was Jesus

  • i use to live at last days ministry there was no talk of that there he did like to put alot of hours in but maybe he new his time was short do not say something you do not know about that is called gossip

  • i am talking to ghoulardifan

  • We so need Keith Green today? Keith would have told you that this, at its fundamentals, is not true. We need more people who are not even slightly ashamed to speak the Gospel. That would be the best way to honor Keiths dedication to the Lord.

  • @BoyRideBike You're right man. We don't need Keith Green. We need Jesus Christ.

  • @BoyRideBike no we need to carry on what Keith Greens leacy (i cant spell good lol)

  • @Darva4 God bless you brother, the're should be a spell check app, on the main app bar atop, check arnd you find it.

  • @BoyRideBike Amen! Right on. He would say "It's not me who is with you to the end of time - it's the Lord Jesus."

  • Very weird! I've never heard Melody's voice before (that I know of). I've been reading No Compromise, and just woke up from a nap where Melody was saying something, and her voice sounds just like I heard in my dream!!

  • I met Melody years ago when i went to a memorial concert. I still listen to keith everyday. His Music is so annointed.

  • Liked Keiths music as a little boy, read the book. Awesome book Melody, God has been stirring in my heart.

  • God Bless Melody Green

  • @JDHBand

    Yeah Amen!

  • @JDHBand Melody Green is a greedy woman. She travels the circuits seeking to extract cash from gullible people by eliciting her husband's memory. He probably did eventually give up the "free love" lifestyle at some point, but seriously, the guy was as wild as any entertainer of his day. Melody and her dog & pony show showed up in Nashville about 10 years ago, and stupid me gave my e-mail address, and then I got spammed often for cash donations -- God was telling her that I should give her money.

  • The prophet Joel wrote about God pouring out His Spirit upon ALL flesh. American TV has always been so BIG, that one often cannot see that God is also moving in other countries and other lives. All over the world, the Spirit is moving, all over the world as the prophet said it would be. Keith was just one of many who have/are/and will be mightily used to touch the lives of others. Let's GO.

  • Awsome thanks for posting. What show did the interview? Melody looks great. We so need Keith Green today. He had a way of speaking right to your heart, you knew you could be doing more for THE LORD.

  • The Lord still has you here to do something

and me too! We are part of the harvest of the seeds that God planted thru Keith.

    Keep Pressing on!!
