  • I don't know what it is about midnight vultures beck that makes me want to rape him constantly

  • Ahh Welcome back. My sworn nemesis! 240p...

  • Ah ok, thx. I just listened the melody and it immediately reminded me of Morrison's version.

  • That's true multitasking

  • Beck is amazing

  • this song is awesome!

  • Will you marry me one day, Beck?

  • Beck ama a México

  • es una extraña invitación. . .

  • I never ever seem to forget the lyrics to this song.

  • Loved this song ever since I first heard it. It is the best BECK tune and the one that defined him to me

  • Hey correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this based on Van Morrison's song It's all over now Baby Blue?

  • @ZuaGweisslter ill correct you because you are quite wrong. its all over now, baby blue is a bob dylan song...but you are right it is

  • @keloquial99 the song was written by dylan but the sample beck uses is from a cover version done by a group called 'them' which van morrison sang for. glad we have that cleared up!

  • I just looooove his voice...so relaxing and sexy..

  • Póngalo junto. Invitación extraño!

  • He is so cute here.

  • he looks like thurston moore both of them are great musicians thumbs up if you agree with that

  • This was the first song I ever learned how to play on guitar. And as such, my first guitar's name is Beck.

  • Whenever I feel tired and dirty, especially after working, this is what I listen to. I don't feel so alone in my weariness.

  • Fuckin awesome.....that's all i have to say

  • is this version played in a lower key?

  • @Khild565 played in a higher key actually

  • This was my favourite song since I was four years old. Everyday after school my dad used to play this song for me in the car

  • burro

  • Beck is one of the few artists I prefer hearing live. Great song.

  • I get a major T.Rex vibe from this performance. Maybe it's his glammed up hair.

    Just so mellow and whimsical.

    And badass.

Only rarely do those mix so flawlessly.

  • whats up with the crowd?

  • beautiful song

  • I love this song - in my opinion this is the best song on the best album of the 90's... but thats not to say its the best song of the 90s....(all apologies)

  • I love it how it always ends with the donkey, such an awesome song man

  • i still think this is awesome :)

  • i've heard the music before by van morrison and is definetely beautiful.

  • If you own the Beck album "Odelay", which this comes from originally, you'll see in the booklet that Beck gives credit to Bob Dylan for sampling the music from "It's All Over Now(Baby Blue). The Chocolate Watch Band didn't write that music originally, they did a cover of the Bob Dylan song. All Beck has done was take a sample from a song and remade it into his own(which shouldn't come as a big surprise to a Beck fan, by the way),

  • I used to love this song, then I heard this band from the 60's called The Chocolate Watch Band, and they had a song called Baby Blue and it sounds just like this....

  • ....babby dillon'z song u fewal

  • Yeah but the chocolate watchband did a cover that sounds more like this. Don't worry I'm aware of "Bob Dylan"

  • Thats my anthem now !

  • no actualy icp took the beat from beck cause icp made there's in 1999 beck made his before icp

  • too bad this song came out before just another love song

  • This is way better than the album version.

Which seems like it would be impossible with all the sounds he uses.

Dammit Beck, way to raise the standards unbelievably high you jackass.

  • When UR Rood UR Good Dont let nothing get N the way of Joy...Nuff said Thnk U Beck Again...Amos N Camden SC 29020

  • Am I the only one who wants to sing "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue"???? Anyway - this is a really good song and (for me) a tribute to Dylan, The Animals, Burdon, McGuire, Jagger and many more!

  • No, your not the only one.

    Them's version on "Them Again"

Plus check out "I can only give you everything" on that same Them LP and compare it to Beck's "Devil's Haircut".

I guess Beck's mother must have had that record. lol

  • I believe Bob Dylan or Van Morrison is credited.

  • As long as credit is given it's great.

  • Yeah, this is my favorite Beck song of all time. It's just perfect!

  • Very interesting, playing it in a different key, goddamn amazing ending.

  • this is my favorite beck song of all time.

  • me too..its beautiful

  • same stay old shoes indeed I Feel the same...looks Like it was a good show

  • Justin Meldel-Johnson is one of the best bassists ever.

  • "If you thought you were makin your way.. to where the puzzles and pagans lay.. put it together- it's a strange invitation."

  • Beck's best song from Odelay, and some of his best lyrics ever.

  • @robswartzer .... check out some of his lyrics from Vultures .... the thing i like about Beck`s lyrics is that they seemingly mean nothing , they just sound so fucking cool ... thats all i want from lyrics ..for them to sound cool ..i dont want a message , i dont want to know about the personal struggles , like allanis morrisette or whatever
