This is by far the best documentary I have ever seen. I think it was put together perfectly. I've recommended it to several people. God bless the Bagby Family.
This is one of the best movies I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot of them). I do think it should be said, over and over: Dr. Turner killed Andrew Bagby and that's a fact, but Justice Gale Welsh is responsible for Zachary, because she let Dr. Turner out... So, Justice Welsh, wherever you are, thanks to this film, WE KNOW WHAT YOU DID!
Something good came from this believe it or not. Thanks to the efforts of many, including Andrew Bagby's parents David & Kathleen, they fought for a bill that gives the Canadien courts the power to justify refusing bail to people accused of serious crimes in the name of protecting children ages 18 and younger. On December 15, 2010, Gov. General David Johnston gave Royal Assent to the bill, An Act To Amend the Criminal Code (justification for detention in custody), making it LAW in Canada.
i had so many emotions running through me during that film. to know that so much evil can live in one person stuns me. i could not believe how evil that bitch was. i feel so much sorrow for the family, the friends, and the children she left behind. i cant imagine how any of them may feel.
SPOILER ALERT! DON'T READ! when the part came up though that zachary was murdered, and that horrendous sound played in the background, my fucking heart died
despite shirley obviously having a severe screw loose, I can't accept that shirley is 'evil' or the 'devil', and i've never had anyone murder my children or grandchildren, so maybe my convictions would change after that happening, but that woman was sick and needed severe mental rehabilitation, so i see this film not only demonstrating a flaw in the legal system but i also see this film as demonstrating a flaw in the mental health system
the narrator which i know is a friend and im sorry to say this but his voice is terrible, he speaks too loud too fast, the sound overlays annoying and all those sounds he uses in the background he uses as affects make it very difficult to watch.
Just saw this film. I don't believe in Hell, but this movie made me actually hope that there is such a place and that if there is, there will be a whole THEME PARK full of attractions just for that cunt Turner! I couldn't hate a person more if I tried.
I'm still in shock from watching this film. I never cried from a movie before and I'm a 29 year old man. I balled my eyes out from this film. Highly recommend this film to everyone that has a TV and a dvd player. It was just....wow....WOW.
I just watched this documentary and I can't stop thinking about it. I can't believe that Canada's judicial system failed these people TWICE. To lose their one and only dearly beloved son and then their grandson is the most horrific thing that I can imagine happening to a loving couple. The fact that they had to stay calm and interact with Shirley Turner almost immediately after their son's death is even more horrific. Andrew Bagby was only 28 when he was murdered. So so so so so so so sad.

bloody psycho!!!! the justice system is flawed. to let that obviously crazed thing to walk all willy nilly!! hope she's burning in hell. as for the system...oh man, makes me wish i was that jigsaw from saw :(, yes, the thngs i would do to you guys.
I just watched this again for the third time and I was just as moved, mortified, & angry as I was the first time I saw it. God bless David & Kate Bagby. Shirley Turner managed to erase these two wonderful human being's entire bloodline.....This makes me so angry when I watch, however the strength of Andrew's parents is truly an inspiration to me.
Just had to jump back on and say even after 2 years.. Shirley Turner I so wish there was a hell for you to burn in.

This the most harrowing documentary ever made -- it's been years since I've seen it and I'm still shaken by what happens. (Listen to 2:17-23)
