I had been ignoring this video for long enough because I knew I would feel guilty listening to this, just like brother Junaidisnumerouno. Thanks to Allah I finally had the courage to face the truth. I hope Allah(swt) gives us the strength to be the best to our parents under any circumstancs.

I totally agree with you. I've never felt so rotten on the inside after listening to any other lecture. It really brought tears to my eyes remembering how I mistreated my mother in my teens, and how ridiculously forgetful of how much pain and agony we put them through when we were helpless youngsters. I made sure to kiss my mother's feet and my father's hands every chance I get to.

I say to my parents I love them but they just do not accept it, as if it is impossible for that word to come out from my mouth! And the same thing happens for everything else. It's so difficult for them to accept. What would you feel if you are in my shoe? I really hope that Allah will forgive me for any of my misconducts.

Lingokeling, pls. listen to the video again esp. the end and you will find the answers to your questions. No matter what they do or say, show ehsaan to your parents. Allah says, we can never pay our moms back for one night they put up with us, do we have any room to complain? May Allah guide us all.

Assalamualaikum. If our parents are ungrateful, what would happen? If they do not give you chance to express your feeling whatsoever? If they are missguided? What would you say? If I have a good intention and they are angry at me for some reason and disregard me as their child, what would you say?
