Shut the fuck up you fucking moron at the end of this video XD Gosh damn you're a bigger idiot than most people at a freaking covention center fo Idiots XD lol
@dwerg2k That's due to the non-structured formation of the molecules causing it to eventually give way to gravity and the forces of erosion. This stuff does give way, but lasts far longer mostly due to the erosion factor being nowhere near as high.
@Markys112 I live in norway, where most people drive around with studded tires half the year. There is fine road dust mixed with water, snow and salt splashing on the windows all the time, that pretty much erodes anything on a car...
So I'm supposed to say something like "2 people had dirty windows.", based on the ratings, to instantly get put in the highest rated comments. People mindlessly will prove my point. You just see.
How much money would this save me on wiper blades and Rain-X? These would probably be really expensive .. and I didn't hear her say that rocks bounce off of them. Until thesebecome standard on a vehicle, I don't see purchasing this in my immediate future.
OK is this coated or is the Nano in the glass? I can do this same thing with Teflon or Glass X or oil if it is just a coating, if it is nano-tube built up into the glass or fused with the glass that would be interesting for many purposes. go-aret.com
Water doesn't stay on it; that doesn't mean oil won't, and it doesn't mean dirt won't. And it definitely doesn't mean things like bird poo or tree sap won't. It just makes it harder to clean after it gets dirty.
Nanotech can do some amazing things, but have we considered the unintended consequences of this stuff? There is already evidence turning up that some kinds of nanomaterials act exactly like asbestos on the body when inhaled.
Well, we just aren't advanced enough yet to fix problems like that. When we advance this problem further and we integrate nanites into our anatomy, they can fix any problems that the other outside nanobots might cause.
At the same time, if we ever created nanites that did the same thing as a neurocyte, we would be much more intelligent and could thus discover better materials for newer nanotechnology.
My employer works with nano-particles on a hourly basis... we have had zero exposures in the past 2 years since we started. The safety department I work for does constant monitoring and has a great program. It's safer when you use the appropriate protocols.
very true. nanotubes can penetrate phospholipid bilayers (your entire body). i saw nanotubes in toilet bowl cleaner the other day. some of that water will end up back where it started... your faucet.
I know about that there is a Greek Company that sells a spray with nanotechnology for every reason. Even for clothes so they wont get wet during the rain.
Yeah, you don't get dirty windows, just foggy ones that look like they are dirty.

Frictionless pipes for transport of liquids without the majority of the energy loss in transit.
Airplane wings, ship hulls, vehicle coatings, ad infinitum.
Wherever "drag" wastes power, this will reduce costs, time, fuel and maintenance.
A marvel, to put it mildly.

Do you think the tens of thousands of people that died from cancer caused by asbestos were lining it up like coke and snorting it for fun?
And nano particles are even harder to control, since they are too small to be filtered out by even the best filtration we have available.
Someone with as little understanding as you has little basis to be calling someone else insulting names by the way.
