  • Yeah, you don't get dirty windows, just foggy ones that look like they are dirty.

  • Although, I don't want to clean windows, I like droplets of water on them on a rainy day. I find it comforting and pretty.

  • I like droplets on glass on a rainy day. It's pretty.

  • yeah but how do you wash them

  • holy fuggin' shit

  • Shut the fuck up you fucking moron at the end of this video XD Gosh damn you're a bigger idiot than most people at a freaking covention center fo Idiots XD lol

  • That doesn't look like a kitchen. Cool glass tho.

  • I can't stop pressing 8 xD

  • And how long does that nano surface last, even normal glass gets worn...

  • @dwerg2k That's due to the non-structured formation of the molecules causing it to eventually give way to gravity and the forces of erosion. This stuff does give way, but lasts far longer mostly due to the erosion factor being nowhere near as high.

  • @Markys112 I live in norway, where most people drive around with studded tires half the year. There is fine road dust mixed with water, snow and salt splashing on the windows all the time, that pretty much erodes anything on a car...

  • how can it be cleaned if water bounces off

  • No more clear windows either.

  • i think they should cover missiles with this

  • A scientific breakthrough and all she can say is no more dirty windows...

  • but is it stronger than regular glass?

  • REPULSION GEL!!!!! (portal 2)

  • What's that noisy sound? If it was raining how it would be heard?

  • tick up if you LOVE Nano technology!!

  • 3 people like dirty windows.

  • i want!

  • Looks like something that could be used more as windshield in cars rather in houses, because its cost may still be too high

  • @NeutralNegotiator that's exactly what i thought

  • Practical!

  • maybe we could make beakers and test tubes with this

  • NO MAWR DUTTY WINDOUGHS!

  • now the birdshit will just slide off

  • We need this in New Orleans...

  • DIE GRAFFITI DIE!!

  • no mo duhtee windows!

  • no more dirty windows is the new meme!

    I COMMAND IT!!!!

  • Uhm... yeah... windows.. that's what I was thinking too. Comes in handy during spring cleaning.

  • great.... so were going to waste nanite technology so we weont have to clean our windows...

  • @bud389 You mean just like we wasted plastic technology so we don't have to replace a cup every time a child drops it?

  • @FALCO64125 as in styrofoam cups? Which are biodegradeable? Yes.

  • make a drinking glass out of this stuff.

  • no more dirty windows

  • Wow--spectacularly hydrophobic. Make car-windshields out of it, never need wipers again!

  • Of course the woman has cleaning in mind.

  • @BBQasaurus HAHAHHAHAHAHAA perfect

  • NO... MORE... DIRTY... WINDOWS!!!!

  • NO MOAR DIRT-EE WINDOWS~!

  • NO MOH DUUHTY WINDOHS

  • @po0oz i think it no more durt windows XD

  • Frictionless pipes for transport of liquids without the majority of the energy loss in transit.

Airplane wings, ship hulls, vehicle coatings, ad infinitum.

Wherever "drag" wastes power, this will reduce costs, time, fuel and maintenance.

A marvel, to put it mildly.

    Based on a waterlily leaf.

  • @voidforpurpose

    coat a pyramid with it!?

  • I'M GONNA CUM BUCKETS ALL OVER THAT NANO GLASS

  • So I'm supposed to say something like "2 people had dirty windows.", based on the ratings, to instantly get put in the highest rated comments. People mindlessly will prove my point. You just see.

  • "no more dirty windows in my kitchen, yey"

  • NO MOAR DURTEE WINDOWZ

  • NO MAWR DUHTY WINDOWS!

  • @outwrangle .. the only thing I can think of that I'd like this glass for is a shower glass door.

  • How much money would this save me on wiper blades and Rain-X? These would probably be really expensive .. and I didn't hear her say that rocks bounce off of them. Until thesebecome standard on a vehicle, I don't see purchasing this in my immediate future.

  • @fokeet Would you use it as a drinking glass?

  • OK is this coated or is the Nano in the glass? I can do this same thing with Teflon or Glass X or oil if it is just a coating, if it is nano-tube built up into the glass or fused with the glass that would be interesting for many purposes. go-aret.com

  • so its the same as the glass on the face of a rolex just cheaper?

  • It's sprayed with a hydrophobic material.

  • I'd like a cup of water in my nano coated cup now.

  • @iMakeMoneyOnlinee

You could try dividing by zero...

    ...you'll get the same outcome.

  • isint that like wax paper

  • put water in a box of that stuff then you have another antigravity methods that do not involve cats

  • o.o how!

  • its like the orbits gum for glass ..haha NO more dirty teeth..i mean windows

  • i would love this on my car...and my house...and my glasses lol.

  • I want this on my car!!!!!!!!

  • There's me with my mind racing about possible technological uses of this and then right at the end. "No more dirty windows!"

    *facepalm*

  • Yeah too right. Must of been a promotional thing. This is very cool though. Should make lenses for glasses out of this stuff.

  • hahah omg me to!

  • @NewF0und That doesn't sound like a lot but consider this: who wouldn't want windows that don't have to be cleaned?

  • @chaz706 ... That wouldn't work.

Water doesn't stay on it; that doesn't mean oil won't, and it doesn't mean dirt won't. And it definitely doesn't mean things like bird poo or tree sap won't. It just makes it harder to clean after it gets dirty.

  • shut up jagoff

  • Nanotech can do some amazing things, but have we considered the unintended consequences of this stuff? There is already evidence turning up that some kinds of nanomaterials act exactly like asbestos on the body when inhaled.

  • Well, we just aren't advanced enough yet to fix problems like that. When we advance this problem further and we integrate nanites into our anatomy, they can fix any problems that the other outside nanobots might cause.

At the same time, if we ever created nanites that did the same thing as a neurocyte, we would be much more intelligent and could thus discover better materials for newer nanotechnology.

  • hey :D i just thought if nanites can repair your body then it can repair the part of your brain that forgets, and we could be smarter :D

  • then dont inhale them numnuts

  • Do you think the tens of thousands of people that died from cancer caused by asbestos were lining it up like coke and snorting it for fun?

And nano particles are even harder to control, since they are too small to be filtered out by even the best filtration we have available.

Someone with as little understanding as you has little basis to be calling someone else insulting names by the way.

  • who the hell said i need a basis to call u an ashole

  • My employer works with nano-particles on a hourly basis... we have had zero exposures in the past 2 years since we started. The safety department I work for does constant monitoring and has a great program. It's safer when you use the appropriate protocols.

  • very true. nanotubes can penetrate phospholipid bilayers (your entire body). i saw nanotubes in toilet bowl cleaner the other day. some of that water will end up back where it started... your faucet.

  • frosted glass who needs it.

  • No more dirty windows!

    *new MSN name*

  • haha XD lol that was funny XD

  • That is HILARIOUS and really cool at the same time haha :D

  • So is the glass static meaning you just sealed in the dirt?

  • I wonder how it feel to touch, slippery?

  • waxing it would do almost the same thing lulz ^^

  • wax a window?!

  • that was... pretty darn awesome. hooray for nanotechnology!

  • No more dirty windows? What?! Don't we have a better use for it than that?

  • THe glass is like "Here, have a seat"

The waters like "no thanks, i think im gona go"

The glass is like "thats what i thought"

  • NO MORE DIRTY WINDOWS D:

  • yeah, for public toilet seats.

  • greatest idea ever

  • No more dirty windows. LOL

  • Agreed, but windshields would be a great start.. The next best use for that stuff would be on eyeglasses!

  • Omfg yes, I hate cleaning my glasses!

  • Or just die and end commenting.

  • k.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA trying to be tough over the net? it just proves the point that YOU in fact are the 5yr old kid!

  • Leave adress and phone then.

  • Relax noob? :)

    Going to cry?

  • Not going to cry.

    Going to Kill

  • Idiot 5year old boy...

  • Nah, not really (:

  • I know about that there is a Greek Company that sells a spray with nanotechnology for every reason. Even for clothes so they wont get wet during the rain.

  • cant they just make a glass with wax on it? cheaper right

  • Yeah and the wax will never wash off, right ? Think before you write ...

  • Yea guys, as much as I hate those guys who try to start a meme, we should seriously just start saying that all the time.

"Help! I'm ABOUT to FALL! What're you doing with that fire hose!?"

    "NO MOAR DIRTEH WINDO'HS LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL"

  • Oh come on, don't be an idiot.

  • Yeah! No more dirty windows!

  • cud use that on my monitor ;o)

  • "NO MOAR DIRTEH WINDO'H S!" that should be an internet meme like chocolate rain and shoop da woop.

  • I agree. "POOLZ CLOSED"

  • @GritYT i would like an nano creme - so i don´´t have to wasch maself anymore ...:-D

  • No More Dirty Windows ^_^ ROFL

  • "NO MORE DIRTY WINDOWS!!!!"

  • LAWL.

  • @linkdude240 for a billion dollars a square inch... yay!!!!

  • hey make a box of that suff in it and put a drop of water in there it wil be bouncin around i want some of that glass

  • oh bla bla bla Rain-X bla bla

  • how bout dust???

  • no more dirty windows!!

have fun cleaning the floor after the dirt falls down xD

  • roflmao! xD

  • No more dirty windows!

  • lol thats cool

  • That's amazing.

  • what ever happened to DD-Seven?

  • i study matteriel science and that is really freat

    nanotechnology

  • whats up with that 'clink-ing' sound... if that sounds is just a low speed water,... imagine going 60mph, and the rain is hitting ur wind shield...

  • "No more dirty windows!" lol

  • no more dirty windows!... but if they shomehow get dirty, would you be able to wash them with water?

  • I think that they want us to wash windows with oil now... I dunno, for me it's not a practical but theorical invention.

  • That's perfect glass for your car. Wipers aren't needed)

  • i guess better not to have one..might damage the glass instead lol

  • wow!
