So, if they say 60% disapprove of Bush, it's legit.
Really, go take a stats class. It was most likely a random sample of US residents leading to the conclusion. Most likely the report came with a margin of error, usually around 5% and a 95% confidence level, meaning there's a 95% chance the approval rating among US residents is within that margin of error. So in short, don't say the statistics are incorrect if you're just pulling the reasoning out of your ass.

1) of course television stations want ratings. that doesn't mean that this news broadcaster should not be entitled to his opinion. he has this portion "special comment" so that he can indeed bring his opinions out to the open. if you don't like it, don't watch it. saying stuff like "keep your views out" is just going along with the idea of limiting freedom of speech.
When he said a "special comment" he did not specify whether this is news or opinion. So when they move from "News" to a new topic it can be construde either way. This is done for a reason.
Keith Olbermann's "special comments" are segments where he tells the news with his own twist. this is what he's known for (or at least one thing he's known for), and while i can understand the confusion, it's pretty clear in the way he speaks, the language he uses, and the passionate comments he makes.

However, when someone is a "reporter" they are surposed to be delivering the facts not their opinion unless clearly stated. I took all the test's to be there,But when my recruiter found out I was an expect father4 years ago he told me he will not be the one that ships me away from my wife new born, and if I want join I need to find another recruiter to take me. I declined b/c He is the only recruiter I worked with for 5 years before this our convestion happend, so I trusted him. Statistics-go to any half decent college and look it up in their course catalog, its in there. If a survey says that 60% of Americans disapprove of Bush, it doesn't say that you specifically are in either group, but you're obviously in one or the other. PROVEN methods find the actual value (percentage in this case) based off a group of people sureyed and determine the validity of the conclusion. If it's invalid, it's not reported. So, if they say 60% disapprove of Bush, it's legit.

Really, go take a stats class. It was most likely a random sample of US residents leading to the conclusion. Most likely the report came with a margin of error, usually around 5% and a 95% confidence level, meaning there's a 95% chance the approval rating among US residents is within that margin of error. So in short, don't say the statistics are incorrect if you're just pulling the reasoning out of your ass.

Hey. Idiot. I got a newsflash for you. Iraq was not a hotbed of radical islamofacism. Quite the contrary. So what the fuck are we doing there? Why didn't we go after the radical islamists who actually attacked us? They were Saudi. STFU and read some "buuks".

No, of course not, but by forcing change to Saudi's next door neighber (Iraq) and Iran's next door neighbor (Afghanistan) we can indirectly bring about change throughout the entire Middle East if obstinate people like yourself didn't stand in the way.

India, Sudan, Russia, Chechnya, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand. there's dozens more, should I keep going? So should we just go after ALL these countries? Wow radical islam spreading through russia. having lived in russia for more than 2 years (and still do), I can tell you radical islam has spread much more through dearborn, michgan than in russia. Dolce & Gabana has penetrated Russia. look at the macro view of the world toward america and you realize our country has become a tragic satire. Let's hope tuesday at least produces some gridlock, but a republican victory tuesday would not surprise, nay confirm my thoughts.

To you, it must not be apparent that the reason we are losing is due to the waste of tax dollars, poor planning and execution, bloated military budgets and an unnecessary war in Iraq which profits military equipment companies like Halliburton. Cheney resigned as CEO of Halliburton in 2000 and still has 433,333 stock options with them worth about $8 million.

How do you win/lose a war which you're fighting with yourself? A quick win would probably mean alot of money spent and a little gained, what's the use of that? We all know we're not trying to save anyone overthere, the war in Iraq is for economical and strategical purposes, when you accept that fact, the reasons why it is not over yet become very clear.
