  • The point was not wether they were similar or wether it was for civilian purpose but about US violation of it's agreement not to co operate with a non signatory, please don't try to confuse the situation it is very clear that USA is in violation of it's commitment to NPT!

  • what is wrong with his mouth?

  • You are a liar sir, USA has signed a nuclear deal with India a nation that has refused to sign the NPT treaty, that has made USA as the biggest violator of NPT.

Iran under the NPT has every right to enrichment so why should it stop when it its right under that treaty.

  • Iraaus, Thank you for your comment. However, the situation with Iran and the agreement with India are in no way similar. Iran is the only state to be in breach of its obligations as a signatory to the NPT in that it has failed to demonstrate to the IAEA that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful.

  • The U.S.-India Initiative is about civil nuclear cooperation, not about India’s strategic weapons program. India’s commitment to continue its unilateral moratorium on nuclear testing, along with the other commitments India made under the Joint Statement, made this Initiative achievable. The U.S. remains fully committed to upholding all of our NPT obligations.
