I remember hearing this tune in a sparcely-attended large jewelry shop in a scorchingly hot strange summer morning in Fresno, California. Er, the name of the group is LIPPS INC, as in "lip sync". They were a studio band that had other performers lip syncing their songs. The lead singer Cynthia Johnson, who was Miss Black Minnesota, must've not had a problem with the singers chosen, so why should we?
