Anyone who would expect dolphin to support 4 cores is very... Naive? Nintendo developed their games for wii, thus they are not multi threaded for more cores. Why would expect them to suddenly be multi threaded when you run them on a different system? People run four core processors and have absolutely no idea how they work or how they improve performance. I once had a friend that assumed xbox360 ran at 9ghz because it's a tri-core at 3ghz. I really hope most people aren't that misinformed,
could you at least just tell us what settings you used to get it as fast or nearly as fast as your game? cause mine runs at 10 frames for gameplay, 15-20 for menues, and the briefing at the begining of the game ran at 8.
they should rename it to "dolphyn the slowdown emulator" becuase it´s inpossible to run it at full speed. it doesn´t support quad core ether. only dual core.
@adolf512 That's because it literally can NOT support more than two (MAYBE 3 but it would be complicated and pretty useless) cores. I'm not going to explain this to you so just understand that Dolphin does a great job splitting it as much as it does.
Videogames are optimized to the specificatons of their consoles. Emulation is not as efficient as running the game on the console it was built for, thus you will need a PC with greater performance than the console to get the same speed
The wii sensor bad is simply made of infrared LEDs. The sensor actually is placed in the wiimote. So basically you can build easily another sensor bar. Or you can use the one from the Wii. \Just power on the wii and use the same sensor bar.
I don't think so.

Um... this isn't upscaling, but actually rendering at hi-res.
nintendomaniac64 2 years ago
yeah but the textures are lowres so yeah
ki11joy92 2 years ago
Even then, it's still not considered upscaling. At least the title was fixed. :P

@yoyocousin all you have to do is optimize the emulator. its is possible. I dont think you need a super computer run it.

Wow... That red tint is crazy...
MetroidPrime1993 2 years ago
A computer would have to be pretty powerful to run most current generation games.
Then again... For the Wii, you would need some sort of sensor piece or an adapter for the sensor bar for the Wiimote.
MetroidPrime1993 2 years ago
Are you serious? Are you aware how crippled the consoles currently are compared to gaming computers of this generation?
