It was a 1950 Mercury.

The car was chopped and channeled. (roof cut down 6 inches)

It also had Moon speed disc wheel covers, and lake pipes if my memory serves me correctly.

That type of body work is almost non-existent in todays custom car seen. Wow that was a cool car.

According to the DVD in the bonus features it was a 350 chevy with a Supercharger and Nitrous and Ran 11's in the 1/4 mile. Thats impressive considering it was 1986 and having an 11 second car in 2010 is still pretty impressive.

If you can find the DVD pick it up it even talks about the weapons in the movie.

If you look real close as the truck blows up you can barely see the mechanism used to flip the truck over. Shame to trash a classic like a 1950 Mercury. I talked to a guy at a show who has one in original condition, not hot rodded. He met George Barris and got him to autograph the dash.

Yes I have seen Commando and noticed that. If you watch scene before Matrix holds Sully over the cliff but right before he puts him over with one arm you can see a cable attached to Sully's ankle.

You have not seen the hulk tv series, wow that is classic you should check out that series. In season 1 a girl at the zoo is giving the hulk peanuts in his right hand and he is stuffing them in his mouth with his left hand. Lot of hulk clips on you-tube check them out.
