1) backstrom is a playmaker, feeding ovie is what hes best at. 2) semin plays on a different line. he cant pass it to him from the bench. 3) saying he shoots too much dismisses the accomplishments of gretzky, espo, lemieux, etc. who shot a lot. 4) every good player gets cheap shots, including ovechkin. 5) crosby diving is a good example for fans? ovechkin is entertaining on top of being the best. if he wasnt the best then multiple hart trophies wouldnt be sitting on his mantle
