well honestly this is a close race between the GTP and the GTI. Not on this vid. these guys are pieces of shit, but when it comes down to equal drives, and both stock. I believe the GTI would take the GTP off the gate. If it's an OLR.(Over Length Race) GTP wins, because the supercharger has very little lag time. Turbo has a 2k Lag Time.

Out of the box, a GTP/Regal GS are one of the most tunable modern cars.

internals are fine with 25 psi...its just the turbo goes bad after some time, only if u rip it a lot though...im not the biggest fan of VW anymore but rest assured that internals will be fine and they will beat GTP's that are slightly modded if the gti is minimum chipped...seriously...idk why but gti's just rip

@VWmanGTI Alright, the GTI runs about a 14.5-15 quarter mile, while a 2000 grand prix GTP runs about a 15.1. I am pretty sure the 2004 GTP runs a 14.9 stock. The 04+ GTPs are faster than the year 2000 GTPs therefore would run extremely close to a GTI. Your "friend" who has a GTP with all those mods would beat a stock GTI. I am not trying to argue, just calling your post bullshit with supporting facts.

Thats about the same as a GTP, put the guy in the video rolling on 20's doesn't help. Your friend has a bad tune on his car, if you got headers you can run down to a 3.4, people have run 12.7's with a 3.4, but that list of mods isn't slightly in my opinion.
man your shifting to late for the turbo you need to shift no later than 5700 rpm if you go past that you will loose all the power from the turbo . Red-lining it sounds good but it gets you shit all with the turbo, from one owner to another
the gtp is stock...its my friends, its only modified on the outside...but he does have a K&N intake, and eibach springs...but yea its all stock but still siiick!
