in response to the comment made by the ultimateotaku, this mahabharat was made in 1990 so you can imagine the budget and the equipment that was available at the time, but they did give alot of attention to detail, scripts and characters. well done!

This is so awesome to see a film of Mahabharata! Yet, I still wish there was a better production of it, with more money spent on it - like they do for Bollywood films and etc. I mean, if they can do stuff like Jodhaa Akbar, with all the costumes and people and stuff, why not Mahabharata?
