  • you must be in good ground, because our core samples dont come out that easily :P

  • speak when spoken too? i guess theres a reason you dont have a helper, probably too much of an asshole to work for, i work with my helpers, and also learn from them everyday. i work too many hours with my partner to have a shitty relationship with. as for your dad, he probably was a great driller, but what does that have to do with safety glasses?

  • so having said that, its good that your not hurt making money but on the same stroke, go fuck yourself, you cocky fucking punk!

  • first of all chill the fuck out, it was just a comment no need to loose your shit, by the way i do have experiance, ive worked allover canada and mexico, ive seen good and bad, i know the fucks your talking about and your just assuming im one of them, but what im getting out of this is your a stubbourn dick who thinks he knows everything about drilling and stoped learning a long time agoe. if i did work with you i think i would have tied your sleave to the rotation by now,

  • Yeah definatly wear your glasses bro, we just sent a guy to the hospital cause he was emptying his tube, and a piece of core came out that was too long so he hit it with a hammer like normal and a piece of core came up a got him in the eye... Work safe man, you only have one set of eyes

  • @LuckyCharms22100 ditto for you too

  • U guys and your work safe, wear your glasses, nobody moves nobody gets hurt attitude are the ones who are fucking it up for this industry and are usually the ones who get hurt. Keep your opinions to urself or go join H.S.E. department. I work hard and safe, so did my Dad for 38 years and my grandfather for 30 plus in the same industry. I was taught how not to hurt myself or others by guys that knew what they were doing...not by safety courses or safety officers with a fucking piece of paper..

  • with little or no experience in the industry telling me how to work safe, fuck them all and fuck you, fucking pisses me off...If you ever worked with me youd learn a thing or 2, specially to speak when spoken too and not shoot ur mouth off when u have no clue....wtf did you think I was going to say?

  • i dont mean to be critical but are really looking up the tubes when done, jeeze dude, espetially withought glasses on, you do that 10 - 15 times a day, 30 foot thats 30+ times you risk your eyes or life if you get a wedge in the eye ball, do what you want but let it be known its a gamble, all it takes is one. take care, work safe.

  • @jeanguy225 I am 6 feet tall, height of the y (where tube sits) is 6 feet, when I look into the tube the tube is flat, so no core can fall out, plus I have my thumb over end of tube to prevent this from happening anyway. This video is not a safety demonstration and was taken over 10 years ago. Been doing it for 20 plus years, got both my eyes. And yes I do wear my glasses when the drill is turning.Do u wear your glasses when walking in the park?

  • Because a friend of mine just lost his eye going for a stroll from a branch backlashing. If u dont want to be critical, then don't criticize.

  • Cool vid. Nice ground. whats the temp down there?

  • @robbiealan100 Some places pretty hot, sweaty, humid...depends on how good the air supply and ventilation is. Sometimes it's wet, cold and windy if ur working close to a fan or a ventilation raise.

  • Email me your resume :-) PMSUniversal@gmail.com

  • Are you using conventional? I did not see you use a wireline to pull out any overshot nor did u use a split tube. anyway nice to see a video of what we do. I also work for a drilling company here in the Philippines. We use Sandvik DE 150 rigs. We drill PQ, HQ, and NQ. also, I noticed that u left the rig to empty your core. good thing the ground is solid. we will get into trouble if we leave the rig unattended on a broken ground :)

  • @5talker5 Using wireline, drill is Diamec 262, no split tube. Yes I left the controls to empty core....it was end of shift and I was pumping tube for my cross-shift. Ground at this mine was very competent, I would fill tubes for 2 weeks and never block once. I cored 126 metres that shift.

  • @Outspokendriller your not one to sit around. If there's something to do, you do it until there's nothing left.

  • @5talker5 "Sandvik" is near where I use to live. Now it's about 25 miles from here. It use to be called Driltec.

  • Great vid, thank you...

  • still a nice vid.....

  • @huevorosado Thanks dude.

  • I was a diamond driller for 7 years and I 've emptied a 500mm diameter core of granite wall 400mm thick and nearly smashed the scaffold out from underneath me. Kind of stupid really but safer than letting some muppet labourer try to help you do it! I forgot to mention it was 5ft off the deck.

  • @japeye62 your right. The wrong help can be worse than going it alone for sure.

  • slipknot 6 years underground never droped a tube, droped a few on surface tho, you takes ur chances, btw 3msurtd its a -66, on flat holes I use 50 ft tube, I run 30 foot on a -90 or plus 90 as well, no big deal. Whats a palmy? These are just Vise-grips I welded onto tube wrench jaws. Basic shit where I come from. You could use a monkey if you wanted but this is just as easy.Top of feed frame also is grooved as to not let wrenches slip.

  • 9m gear on a -55 hole? must be fairyland drilling...cant believe ur using palmys insead of clamps lol mad fucker lol

  • @3msurtd whats a palmy?

  • haha dont let those core tubes fall or ur gonna be pulling rods lol wher u working ?

  • @slipknotlol Working in Northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

  • @Outspokendriller tube spanners bruv
