Amphitrite, sorry you're misguided. Just google Moriori and you'll see that what you say is commonly known as 'the Moriori Myth'. Michael King has a book on this - read it if you're interested but don't keep regurgitating bullshit. Moriori were Maori who resettled on Rekohu (Chathams) and became Moriori. In other words, they weren't Moriori when they came here (neither were Maori actually, if that makes sense), we were the SAME race of people. I encourage you to keep learning about your nation.
