試想想，你唔開心想搵首歌出黎聽，你會揀一首感情刻畫得好細膩，­聲音讓你感同身受...定係聽opera？

Never understand why people need to compare him to Jacky. As an old guy I started listening to Jacky since his "Smile", but I still like Eason's singing. I'm glad Eason chose not to duplicate Jacky's style (bright voice, strong vibrato and resonance technique, etc) even he can. You don't need two Jacky.

Eason is less stable than Jacky mainly because the singing techniques used by them are actually fundamentally different. Eason uses much less 颤音 than Jacky and tends to use more of his natural voice. Usually when a singer uses more 颤音, his voice will be "brighter" and performance more consistent, but carries more subtle and natural emotion.

(that's why Lee Hacken almost never sings off-tune. He uses even more vibrato than Jacky)

什么歌神天皇? Just garbage labels created by the media. And there is no point of comparing them. A good singer is a good singer, regardless of those labels. As a middle-age guy, I feel most grateful I've witnessed several first-class great singers including Jacky, Eason, Leslie, Faye, Anita, Lam, Sandy, Sally, Beyond ........ the list goes on. Every one can have his/her favorites, but nobody has the right to say the rest are bad.

It's undeniable he was off at that note and just like a gymnastic performance, you have to deduct technical mark for slipping. That's said, there is a difference between singing off-tune because of poor technique/ narrow range and that caused by "痰上頸". It is quite clear he was not in his best form and has "痰上頸" (he perfectly hit the same note several times in this performance). His performance in the 2nd half was near flawless, and artistically I gave him high score for the emotion.

It's more precise to say that his voice sucked in THIS SONG, I don't know why but if you have the feeling that he is a bad singer right away then maybe you were born yesterday of something, experience = zero.
