He has dedicated years to the study and enforcement of Bird Law in the state of Pennsylvania, and has stood as an icon for the revival of the legal system of dueling in the city of Philadelphia. He has dedicated years to the study and enforcement of Bird Law in the state of Pennsylvania, and has stood as an icon for the revival of the legal system of dueling in the city of Philadelphia. He's much more qualified to serve in the Supreme Court than Elena Kagan is.

BTW, that's not an argument -> "The recount that would have shown... Gore won Florida..." This is just an assertion. Unless there was a way to determine that the chads were significantly more likely to occur on a "Gore score," the point is moot.
Even so, the only SC decision was to enact the part of the 14th amendment that would prevent a recount. Blame the drafters, not the SC.

I myself am not very up in arms about that SC decision, although I do think the Justices voted along partisan lines with the exception of Souter, which I find disgusting. I believe Sandra Day O'Connor publicly stated that she had voted on partisan lines, and Souter publically stated that he was intensely displeased.
