@numajoff Yes otherwise they will get used to food being put straight into their tank and every time you open it they will try and bite what is put inside the tank (Your hands!)
@FraserDorrianTV they have teeth but only very small ones, you cannot see them because they are like up im their gums. they are not like big fangs because they constrict their prey. and yes you do need a heat lamp or heat mat. you need a heat mat when they are small because u keep them in a small box, the mat goes under the box. sorry about the long reply
