@soliquoy calling something "haram" which is not, is the biggest sin. if you do so, you speak, like you are Allah himself. Allah never says to shave is haram. so, don't call it haram... may Allah save you from this sin.

And people without beards, and I'm not referring to anyone in particular, should have love for the sunna, including myself. A beard is Wajib. And that is clean shaven. Don't go all the way to lies to defend someone.

When Rasulullah (SAW) sees people without a beard, he will turn his head away in shame (on the day of judgement). If the most beloved to Allah The Most High can't even look at you, who will intercede for you? And not having a beard is a 24 hour round the clock sin. It also propagates not having a beard. And did I say there weren't more important issues?

I heard that he's the best qari of the 21st century because he had been taught by sheikh mustafa ismail and he was the best qari of the 20th century because his style was unique which no one had. So basically he had made up his own style!
