Her name's Blaze. She's been around for years before Silver so it's kinda sad people don't know her name.

Second, she does not die. She's been in games after Sonic 06 too.

Third, the game cancels itself out in the end when Elise blows out the flame and none of the whole game ever happened. This means Blaze never had to take Iblis with her to another dimention.

They got into the past after Solaris was defeated (remember the flashbacks of a little Elise looking at a flame in a torch and her father telling her that's Iblis?) That is the same torch they go to. This is all before ANY of the stuff happened. Before Iblis and Mephiles escaped and before Iblis got sealed inside her. Elise takes the torch and blows out the flames of Iblis. This means Iblis got destroyed like that before it ever escaped and ruined the future.

*cont* This also means Iblis never got sealed inside her, never giving Mephiles a motive to get Silver to kill Sonic aka Silver never came to the past to look for him, Rouge never went to get the scepter of Darkness because it didn't exist. Eggman never had any interest in capturing Elise because she didn't have Iblis in her meaning Sonic never had to save her or meet her. Now this naturally makes the plot non-existant since Iblis was the center piece of the whole thing.
