  • How long do you rest in between sets?

  • @nickdaman77

I used to rest about 1 1/2 minutes, but I am finding 2 to 2:10 more productive these days, Peace, Vic

  • What a man can say. Pure perfection - you're incredible Vic. Certainly one of the best workout videos that I've ever seen.

  • Hey Vic, Thank you for the great workout videos. The correct workout program, your tips and guidance really helped in shaping up my chest, triceps and shoulder muscles. Keep posting more videos..Happy New Year

  • Hey Vic, I just wanted to thank you for teaching me GREAT form, results have been starting to speed up. I can see the results weekly.

  • Wishing you all a most prosperous and most of all, healthy, happy New Year

  • @vicsnatural Vic i think your awesome i've started working out for about a month now and i've seen a vast improvement alread.. 100% natural :') Your the man ;)

  • One of the best personal trainers i've encountered

  • vic, i just wanted to say your form is phenomenal. really great stuff.

  • @awoundedhorse

I want to address your comment by thanking you in return. Appreciation and good feeling mean a lot to me. Happy New Year. Vic

  • This is not a warm up.......This is the real deal.

  • is it important to practice posture when you bodybuild? I noticed that you stand relaxed. when i work out and try to stand with my shoulders back and chest up all the time, eventually the front of my shoulders and back get sore because the muscles are tired. that wasn't a problem before i started body building. I want to have good posture but i don't want to stop bodybuilding what should i do?

  • Hey Vic, nice video. The thing about eating right is a problem for me. I cant put on weight so I go to the gym 3 times a week to get bigger and I eat crap to get my strength up.since my wrists are skinny, I need to build at least some fat to make them stronger? What kinda foods do you eat? All the best foods are crap. :( btw I take Syntha protein shakes as part of my protein intake. Buying chicken all the time is very pricey.

  • @Occultfan

In my opinion, you can't build the same muscle with supplements that you can build with food and hard work. There are good foods that have fat; red meat, nuts. These aren't "crap", they are real foods. I think the body metabolizes food significantly better than supplements. Supplements aren't used in place of food, they are used in addition to food. Best of luck -Vic

  • i know this is a video on shoulder workouts but your lats are one of a kind man

  • @handsomehustle

I thank you for your compliment sir

  • I've been subscribed to you for a while now Vic, and man do your videos always teach me something new. Nothing better than learning and doing something you love!

  • good routine but for the press i always prefer either barbell or dumbbell and the reason is that the free weight works more fibers in the muscle so you get a better workout and build muscles faster as far as i know

  • @pkidro

I don't disagree. I think all gym tools have their merits. I would encourage you and everyone to try all of the different apparatus in the gym- find what works and go for it. Never stop learning.

  • thanks for the video, cant wait to try these exercises. you look great too man, very clean and natural looking muscles.

  • I like this guy's committment to perfect form.

  • Vic, what you mean by natural? My understanding of natural is a bodybuilder who is virgin to protein shakes, creatine etc... However, another definition of "Natural" is people who take protein shakes but NOT steroids. Which one of them are you?

  • @yougoooe

I think this is a great question. I always considered someone who doesn't do steroids as natural. I certainly don't do steroids, nor do I not take any supplements at all. I always felt a supplement should be taken in pace of something missing. Given that I am not missing anything , or at least I think I'm not missing anything- there is no need for me to take anything. My focus is on what am I getting- not what is missing. When you eat like that the body is amply nourished. Vic

  • He has the john rambo body thats the best body type out there looks natural and healthy

  • Vic, man looking great as always. I and many others really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos.

  • good training .

  • ure first move is new thing for me but other after that i do them on my workout nice body

  • I just want to thank you for all the great tips and showing the correct way of using the machines and everything.. At one point I was 325lbs now I'm down to 280lbs.. your videos are a HUGE help.. Thank You again Vic.

  • Hey Vic,

This is really imp, I wanna know whether the 1st set of exercises which u showed should all be done in one go without resting or we can rest while doing the 4 diff exercises coz I think we r suppose to do 4- 5 sets or attempts u call them :D I jess follow ur workout for my body, n shoulder is really imp for me. Earlier my frnds at gym wud give curious looks to my workout, bt now most of thm come to me for suggestion looking at my improvement :D Thanks Sam

  • @TheCoolguy143

I think I get it- normally I do 4 to 5 sets or attempts resting 2 minutes or so in between, However, I don't do another exercise in between - I stick with that particular exercise until I have completed the 4 to 5 sets- Peace, Vic

  • quick question, do you just do this set once and youre done for your shoulders? or do you add this workout onto other exercises? or do you do this entire exercise 4-5 times

  • @phamtony931

I do soe variation of preses every time I do shoulders for a max of 5 sets or attempts. Vic

  • Respond to this video... My rep range is in the neighborhood of 15 max and 7 to 8 on the low side. Vic

  • how many reps do you do for every exercise? is everything to failure? because it would be nice to know how many you do to get to failure so i have something to work off of.

  • So the debate ensues about eating. I am delighted to put up any posts that stirs debate. It is good to have a different perspective from everyone. However, when it comes to eating. The debate as I see it is which is more important eating "right" or training. There is a great understanding between men and women that I believe we can all agree, "garbage in - garbage out". This goes for the mind - and the body. It is not a judgmental statement it simply elementary. Love your body- Peace all,Vic

  • Vic, thanks for this video. I usually don't get sore from doing lat and front raises but this workout really hit it hard. I'm sore as shit right now hahaha, it really does help doing lat raises/those mini arm circles one arm at a time. Thanks for the video!

  • u can workout for hours and hours a day and go home, eat like shit (unhealthy) and all your time and dedication u spent at the gym will be big waste of time.. people think that u can look like this guy by giving it 100% at the gym and thats it.Wrong!!!

nutrition is just as important if not more

  • @BLaCkEdOuTRoUsHF150

I never used to believe it myself. I gave too much credit to training and not enough to dieting. Now I do the reverse. I pay very close attention to my diet and I never waiver. Training is fun , but planning every meal for the rest of your day, week , month and year requires intention. For me, I decided to draw the line in the sand. No white flour, no sugar, no friend foods, no alcohol, and no processed foods. Everything else is available to me. I agree with your analysis.

  • @BLaCkEdOuTRoUsHF150 your wrong even if you eat like shit as long as you go hard at gym every day you will still put on muscle and can look good.

  • Good advise, thanks

  • Hi vic, I recently watched a couple of your videos and one question still remain in my mind. Are you always doing these reps to failure? This kinda looks like endurance to me. So how do you manage to gain weight while doing endurance? I have been working for almost 2 year now and i've always trained with ''reps''. My goal is actually to get more mass so ex: shoulder press i do like 12 10 8 6. I'm sure that you can answer this. Thx to answer and have a nice day

  • @MyNaMeIsMaXiFy

In my opinion , sensation is the key. It is how the muscles feel. Now I don't use light weights, I use manageable weights. This means, I try to use a heavier and heavier tool and accomplish the same form. So, I do challenge myself with weight, but not at the expense of my form. I like the 12, 10 , 8 , 6. I tend to stay higher, 14-15, down to 8. But again, I am using weights, that I can use with a high degree of control while placing my body in a specific posture that will target

  • I'm increasing my shoulder/back workouts a bit at the present time(I said this before in another video but the post didn't go through) during my workouts. I think I may try these along with my current regiment.

  • I'm swaying a little bit... That's okay :)

  • @selnes101

A bit- there is a natural tendency to do this. However, I really try to remain as true to my form as possible. Be nimble but don't swing. Try to stay flexible. Too rigid doesn't work either. There is a subtle balance between the two. Peace, Vic

  • Need a good diet people. You all can have a good body . Just gotta have that diet dedication like this man. Good work vic

  • When the video started, i saw super man right after he pulled his shirt off, but hadnt removed his glasses yet

  • Hey vic,i have been doing work out for almost year ,i can see little shape or size in my biceps and shoulder area, but how can i change the texture of my body.the fat and little chubness around chest area how can i get rid of it.?..i dont want to be over sized but i prefer lean and cuts...any tips for that,i would appreciate it.

  • @salllu

Eating is a major part of success. The texture or composition of my body has been earned through not only work, but what I have put into it. My diet is offered in my videos and on my site. But a really good start is to cut out white flour and sugar and processed and fried foods. Vic

  • @vicsnatural

    Thnx vic,,,realy appreciated buddy:)

  • damn what a nice chest you got there vic

  • do you have any videos on abs workout?

  • @joenjoi

Of course, it is on my channel. Vic

  • How long did it take for you to get like that??

  • @afa16

Long time friend- but won't take you as long if you follow my advice- learn from my mistakes. Vic

  • @vicsnatural nice

  • I like how everything he says in the same tone. even his (jokes)- "u counting?.. im not" :)

  • haha this guy is awsome if he didnt have his top off u would have no idea hes ripped

  • Hello sir, do you have videos on diet?

  • just did this today as part of my routine - I truly enjoyed this..

  • thanks vic - great video.

  • "no rest for the weary" haha love that line man

  • I had a back like that once, in a dream.

  • Hey vic do you think if im more on the skinny side i should do lightweight for shoulders or more heavier?

  • @TheEbopallday

I always suggest a solid combination of the two- somewhere between light and heavy is bodybuilding- Peace, Vic

  • How often do you do cardio?

  • @swoleneck

I walk 4 miles per day and for me that is fine- I suggest 3 times per week at least 1/2 hour

    Vic

  • hey bro, watzup? im a fan of your great workouts, i just wanna know, how many set do you do the dumbbell workouts for your shoulder? and what do you do first, dumbbell or barbell? cheers!

  • @thugzzz8890

Thanks so much- Barbell first- then 4 sets of dumbbells. Pretty much do 4 to 5 sets of everything. Peace, Vic

  • Makes it look 2 3asy

  • Hi vic you are a beautiful person. My question is how many body parts do you train per day? and whats your resting period? thanks a lot cheers

  • @umothayna

Day 1 Back and biceps calves , Day 2 chest and triceps abs, Day 3 off , day 4 off, Day 5 shoulder and legs calves , day 6 abs back and biceps- so two days on two days off these days-

resting for about 2 minutes between sets these days as well. Vic

  • @vicsnatural ..Hi vic..your split looking good but you said you workout your muscles ones per week and I see you are doing back and biceps day 1 and day 6..? I think my workout take minimum 60 min or more because i do rear delts, traps, hamstrings..when do you workout these muscles in your split? thanks for great advice

  • @TheTobbius

Great question- most of us are just trying to do the basics. As natural guys, we tend to focus on the broader category of muscles. You are interested in what real serious bodybuilders call specialty parts- (These separate the men from the boys and make a physique look complete and polished. Indeed, it would take a bit longer of a workout. rear delts on shoulder day, hams on back day, and traps on chest day- this and makes sense to me- thanks for the sophisticated question. Peace Vic

  • forget the shoulder work out...let me get that ab workout bruh bruh

  • @TheTyDub

No prob- it's up here on You tube- Peace, Vic

  • I believe the question is a question out there about how much I can dead lift?

Happy to share-the answer is I don't know. I can tell you what I have accomplished. About 7 weeks ago I did 315lbs. for 20 reps. I could have done it for more, but I was getting dizzy from all the ups and downs, I was probably doing it too fast. It was kind of fun and a bit stupid because it was doing absolutely nothing for me. I wasn't feeling it in any part of my body - I was just getting tired. Peace, Vic

  • Vic is a true GENIUS! :)

  • "boy they're really fried right now!" hahahah that was funny. good workout

  • great physique.

  • NEED HELP HERE! My friends who is a bodybuilder, while he does have a good body (not a huge guy) he spends a very long time at the gym, he lifts very light but squeezes deeply, while I can feel the squeeze when I train with him I really dont fancy spending 2-3hours at the gym training 1 body part. Is squeezing really that important???

  • @dragonbut

If you are talking about a peak contraction- I think it is important- However, when most people squeeze, they exert energy, believe it or not - mostly in their face and neck. There is a very important way of concentrating the muscles by intense focus-

You are essentially using the muscle mind connection. Peace, Vic

  • @vicsnatural Thank you very much Vic

  • What the xD When I first seen you I thought you where the Hulk in disguise XD lol

  • I have been "TRULY" working out for about 6 months now and myself only being 17 years of age, i am trying to get as much information on certain muscle group as possible and this is definitely a great shoulder workout! Great video Vic!

  • Thx

  • top man! inspiration to all! beautiful natural physique! well done vic!

  • @Radman916

Actually, yes. Have you read about some of the student athletes dropping dead from having an undiagnosed enlarged heart? People who had been training for years at a top level, young people dying on practice fields. Former pro NBA player , 47 died last week playing a pick up game. Undiagnosed issues kill good people. Glad you brought it up. If I didn't think it was important, I wouldn't have put it up there. All I post is intended for good folks who are watching me. Peace, vic

  • As soon as i saw your body i subscribed

  • @LeathalM same here

  • i was just wondering what is the best way of reducing strength imbalances in the arms, in particular for biceps (Im right handed and my left fails a couple reps before my right)

  • @bigbawsdogg

Believe it or not- just keep training- I told one person to connect more with the weaker side of the body- in other words- although there is really no lead arm when you are doing a certain exercise- draw your concentration to that arm- when you start your exercise start pulling one instant sooner and focus on that arm- at the bottom of the exercise before you pull up- think of that arm and say "Pull", think of that arm pulling and say "Pull". This helped another person immensely.

  • @TheDonSharma

There are a few other vids of mine on shoulders on youtube. Vic

  • Is doing those relative to getting mass? Or will those more tone you out. Going till you can't go no more is more for cutting right?

  • @MrWashHouse1

For me this satisfies a bit of each- size - sculpting and cutting. I always trained for a combination as compared to trying to get big , then cut up later. I always liked gradual changes - this kind of training keeps me fit all year and in top shape all year. Some people pack on size and then try to sculpt something out of that. I always wanted to know what I was working with and try to maintain considerable condition in the interim. Peace, Vic

  • @vicsnatural ahh oh ok I'm gonna do this for my shoulder workout today ^^ i'll let you know how it goes

  • the best workoutclips in the net. Thank you.

  • Just incredible. This is the way to train the shoulders neatly (when your just under the bigbois). Love this vid and admire your form.

greats from a city build under the waterline

  • im not counting, are you? no need for that. lol my favorite part

  • would this help my shoulders.....my whole life they've popped in and out of their sockets (prob once a year if that)......I've tried some shoulder work with pushups, planks, front raises, side raises and lateral...will this help too?

  • Congrats on your videos! Really useful and understandable. I have a question for you though: I've read in many places that in order to gain muscle one should work on heavy weights and few repetions (8 or 10). Now I can see you're doing a lot of reps (not even counting some times) with not much weight.... bottom line, you got me confused! Could you cast some light here? I'm sure many of the people here would like to hear your opinion about it too. Thanks for your reply. (FYI, I'm just a begginer)

  • @Trancobelini

I developed my body using the form and techniques you see in the videos. With respect to weights, continue to challenge yourself with heavier and heavier weights. You will see that this form is extremely effective, But don't use a "light weight",. When I train, I don't use light weights , I use manageable weights. "Light" is relative.

  • great video helped alot ur fan from england

  • LATERAL LASERS

  • @spyrde1

Yeah I caught that too- what an awesome opportunity for a joke and I missed saying it- Don't worry next vid will have bloopers. Peace, Vic

  • Spartan Abs

  • Those abs are like valleys man, great vid!

  • This guy know's what he's talking about & explains it brilliantly... I do all my workouts with his advise in mind & have experienced a pump like never before. I did a shoulder workout last week although using my own exercises I concentrated on engaging the muscles & not counting the reps etc & it was the best shoulder workout I'd ever done. Watch all of Vic's videos on different body parts too, theres loads of subtle hints that have made all the difference.

  • you can notice from his body that his training methods are natural, also what he eats shows the results. Superman indeed. I'll start on those asap.

  • Dude I love how you emphasize technique....I'll start training this way, and focus more on how my muscles are reacting to the exercise than piling on pounds of weights. Thanks Vic!

  • hey vic how do u schedule urself i split the week up into different parts arm, shoulders, back, chest. but this means i only get a 1 workout per week is this sufficient, is there a better way to do this. thnks for ur help

  • I think I heard Vic say in another of his videos that once a week on each body part is what he recomends & does himself.

  • hes superman

  • I love your videos man, thank you.

  • Back and Shoulder videos kicked my ass , did both vids to exhaustion! Thanks for helping me shock my system, know I dont have to stack all those plates on my shrugs , all I can feel is muscle exhaustion , Thanks Victor

  • Thanks Man for all your kind comments all the long- Peace, Vic

  • I tryed this work-out and believe me I feel the burn Thanks Vic!

  • lmao this is not a warm up this is the real deal lol good video

  • Vic - would you recommend a supplement like NO EXPLODE

  • great videos - I'm changing my entire workout to fit what you have taught, even though what I do is working, I can never do much with the bicep - but I think your workout will do the trick. thanks man.

  • Thanks Vic, this is really great. Nobody showing such perfect like you. Many thanks for all of this. Keep bodybuilding live.

  • best form and explanation i have ever seen, trust me this does work i used to do the heavy weights but only sometimes felt the burn , try doing this on lower weight till you max out trust me you will feel it , yet again vic nows best, would this work for mass or definition?

  • Thanks so much for the props, I really appreciate your comments. All the best, Victor

  • looks like clark kent !

  • how heavy in weight does this dude really do? he does not actually go to the gym and super set everything, I am not saying that he is bad, however I would like to know how to put on mass and not definition.

  • Heavy weights with high calorie, high protein diet.

  • I can go heavier - but I like to master a weight first using my technique- when I have mastered it I move on or experiemnt with higher weights. All eth best, Victor

  • give me your genetics!

  • dude you are like the best tainer

  • i like this workout, it really hurts, when i try the machines i dont feel that pain, dumb bells the best for shoulders

  • 1:01 haha.

  • Vic is awesome. Ship this man over to Scotland as my personal trainer lol

  • I love these videos. And they work. I get mad pumps from this. Very methodical... not just fuckin' throwin' weights around like some folks... Bill Nye the Muscle Guy.
