  • I will just buy tarantula for 10$ from ebay

  • @TheMichal134

Ebay does not sell tarantulas. It's illegal for them to sell live animals on the site

  • @Jon3800 Oh sorry for the comment i just saw a dead body of it on ebay for collectors and i did not realize that its dead and i thinked that it was alive

  • @TheMichal134

ya, they sell encased ones. There's online forums where real ones can be bought. Not sure where you live but I would check arachnoboards (com)

  • hi my tarantula just molted thanks for the advice! and I just searched on the internet is it true that if a tarantula has long pedipalps it is a boy or is there another way? please tell me.

  • @jejeboy11

males should have bulbous pedipalps (look like boxing gloves).

  • Sooooo many exotics... But I still love good ol' old world T's. I think they are more sleek while new worlds are more colourful...

  • I'd prefer pulchra

  • ok Nice vid . ill consider PUlchra next order but mIght just buy some aboreal additions instead. i only got 2 aboreals

  • MY B Bohemi is 4.5" just hope it does not become a MM . and ends up female or ill be mad =(* cant truly sex it but It looks a little bit more male then fe,male. last molt was destroyed.

  • thanks man

  • I absolutely love your Grammostola pulchra, Ebony. She is gorgeous!

  • thanks

  • what was that thing you fed the trinidad olive?

  • its one of those cricket larvae

  • Hey dude, i've watched a lot of ur clips and i'm wondering how expensive the criggets and Ts are in America.U have to come to germany to buy ur Ts.

By the way,how do u get the criggets out of a Pocis cage for example that weren't eaten?I think u should put it on a caresheet video 'cause its important to T-keepers.

Back to prices: P. Metallica Sling for example costs 75 dollars here and A.versicolor sling around 10 dollars. noone buys Ts, Snakes and so on in a petshop in germany ;)great clips man

  • Actually, I live in Canada, and its quite expensive to buy Ts than in the States. Poecilotheria metallicas are on average $150 for a well-started 1 inch sling and about $25-30 for a 2nd instar A.versicolor.

I spend around $18 canadian on 300 crickets which lasts me for about 3 weeks before I buy more.

In my humble experience, you don't need to worry about pokies and crickets becasue they usually are hungry species. I just remove them with large size forceps, like how I do with any T

  • hmm, aren't there any ways with UPS Express for example? There's a huge offering of Ts in germany and u'll get it for lower prices but i dont think they'll be alive if u ship those guys overseas.

Naa, keep on doing ur videos 'cause they are really cool and often helpful. I like ur channel but the image quality sucks a 'lil bit. I'm sorry about that ;)

  • thanks for showing the robustum. by the way that thrixopelma is def a looker as well

  • no problem

  • Hey jon really great vid!

  • lol I think its time to convice your parents you need a Roch colony

  • great vid once again Jon!

  • Correction there is a picture of a 10" P. antinous. It's on arachnoboards in the picture section. Look up the thread "Genus Pamphobeteus" and check out the last page.

  • wow, thats large

  • The Pampobeteus antinous size range is around 8-10 inches. I've heard of hobbyist owning a 9.5-inch P. antinous. They are large tarantulas and from what I heard pretty docile.

  • I would count on them being pretty docile

  • Hey Jon,

    Great vid as usual...

    A few questions though:

Do you keep your own colony of crickets? I'm currently keeping a few roaches. I hate it. It stinks and they poop on their water source...

    Any suggestions? :)

  • I don't keep a colony of crickets, they die much too fast.

My advice is clean the colony often and maybe put some more ventilation

  • I just noticed that I forgot to put holes on my roach box... Ventilation could solve my stink problem. Thanks! :)

  • Choose a species that doesnt smell like B dubia, and for my roaches i dont give them a watersource just wet food like lettuce and such.

  • I'll try that wet food advice... Thanks! :)

  • What did you give your H. Incei? :o

btw mine didnt make it :(

  • that sucks. I gave her a little worm.

  • First Comment? grats on all your new Ts and awesome vid yet again.

  • thanks man :)
