  • fuck the police

  • @sbrooks187 SAY WHAT!!!!!? :O

  • white sneakers look boss when you keep them clean

  • Hey, if they're white, Alexander can color them the way he wanted.

  • It's cool but the animation is kind of choppy.

  • @thehoosierfortheUK Yeah, but it was 1990. Also, Klasky-Csupo is the studio behind early The Simpons (Tracey Ullman and like one or two seasons) as well as Rugrats, Ahh!!! Real Monsters, etc. They're not really known for beautiful art or animation. They got better towards the end of the 90s with As Told by Ginger, Rocket Power and the like, but still.

  • @sbrooks187 Also Klasky-Csupo did annimation for the adventures of Ronald McDonald, I saw a couple of episodes of it and it's pretty cool; hey it's better than Mac and Me! Lol!

  • @thehoosierfortheUK No way man! ET was a total ripoff of Mac and Me. LOL

  • @sbrooks187 Yeah, the animation in this reminds me a LOT of the Tracey Ullman Simpsons shorts.

  • gosh that feels good

  • What if they remade Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day as a movie.

  • @SongsJerome It'd be a good idea.

  • @inlovewithKStewart That'll be amazing

  • @SongsJerome Seconded!

  • @MovieMan1065 Ah I see

  • He was kind of obsessed with Australia.

  • Dang, why did all the adults have it out for him that day. With his dad who was a jerk, his teacher who was a witch with a capital B, the shoe salesman who was rude. This boy is like five or sis years give him a break.

  • The Eleventh Doctor is a pretty terrible shoe salesman.

  • alexander grew up to be a serial killer wanted in 19 states.

  • "Alexander, please don't pick me up anymore" - What a douchebag dad! >.<

  • @edwardnewmoon999 I agree

  • i bit my tounge

  • Australia will be worse!

  • @Samv100able Y es it would be. And 10 times worse if you met a cassowary. lol lol lol

  • @thebigrene1972 Daniel Tamberelli

  • I like the way they played the tongue biting moment, that was one of my favorite parts of the bedroom scene--other than the song

  • I love the little kid's voice, it's so cute! (I'm not a pedophile)

  • @10Itoruna I remember the voice from this and I have to say I'd love to have had that kid do more voice acting because he has the perfect voice for characters like this

  • @vidhead85 Yeah same here. His voice was perfect for this character.

  • Alexander being a little BITCH! Build a bridge, bro.

  • I think I dialed Australia...

  • I still have this video.

  • Once Alexander's mom found his yo-yo he was looking for, it looks like Alexander was changing his mind to not move to Australia. If he was, that was good for one thing, the rest of his family wouldn't of gotten sad since he wasn't running away from home. The other good thing was that, he could finally get that cavity filled out that his dentist said he had. Once the dentist schedule the appointment to get it filled out, Alexander said he will move to Australia then, but not anymore.

  • After Alexander, Anthony, and Nick sang the song "If I Could Be The Only Child", it looks like Anthony and Nick were apologizing to Alexander for all the rude things they did to him. So I guess maybe if Alexander got the shoes he wanted or liked, and if the father didn't punish him, and if Alexander didn't go through those problems he mentioned from 3:45-4:45, probably he wouldn't of agreed again to move to Australia after Alexander, Anthony, and Nick sang the song like they're apologizing.

  • wow i remeber reading this book when i was little then watching the movie. Brings back lots of good memories:)

  • Bart simpson crossed over with Daria

  • @huiale14 Well, Klasky-Csupo animated this, and they also animated the Tracey Ullman Simpsons shorts and the first three seasons.

  • I had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day today too. So watched this and now things are a little better. c:

  • @IAmSwashbuckle That's one of the reasons I watched it too. My bike got a flat, I was on my way to Ultimate Frisbee, missed out on it after realizing it was at 7 instead of 8, had to walk home at least 2 miles because the bus had no bike rack on it and the next day I got a flat again so I took it to the bike shop. MIssed out on the gym and went to my friend's wedding even though I was pissed. So this is what I did to commiserate

  • Nostalgia attack. I used to watch this when I was like 3.

  • Oh dear God.

I just remembered this and thought to search it. Nostalgia...SO HARD...

  • 1;53 Wasn't Alex's socks green and now they are light brown.

  • Anyone else notice the mother's voice? She's voiced by Linda Wallem, who also voiced Dr. Hutchison, Virginia Wolfe, and various other female characters on "Rocko's Modern Life!"

And look at the credits; this special was produced by the same animation studio that did "Rugrats" and the early Simpsons episodes, among others!

  • @wileyk209zback That explains Alexander's resemblance to Chuckie Finster.

  • @wileyk209zback Klasky Csupo couldn't have made this; It never gave me nightmares.

  • @animalcrosser591 Even the Tracey Ullman Simpsons shorts? The animation in this special looks a lot like those early Simpsons shorts.

  • i have seen the movie but poor alexander being beat up and clothes on mud and the white shoes but man alexander should have a great day. but i didn't know that alexander is down in the dumps. he should have bad luck then. i've read the book about the money.

  • Man, the father's such a jerk, putting Alexander in time out for something that he didn't even do on purpose! And while we're at it, how does he expect Alexander to turn off the machine when he (Alexander) apparently doesn't even know how to?

  • @Rkerekes13 Well, I know that Alexander was pushing the buttons on the copying machine on purpose but, when he knocked the books down, that was an accident. So maybe the father is giving him the time out for pushing the buttons on the copying machine. Also I agree, Alexander probably doesn't know how to turn the machine off so it was strange how the father told him to turn it off instead of saying to him to push the "on/off" button located on the left or right side (whichever side it was on).

  • @afriendofbean Well, yeah, but the father still shouldn't have given the time out.

  • @Rkerekes13 That's true. The father shouldn't have given Alexander the time out especially after Alexander told him at 2:06 that his day was bad where I'm sure the father made things worse for Alexander by giving him a time out. Of course, Alexander should have told his father that everyone at school has been laughing at him and teasing him, even his brothers Anthony and Nick where maybe the father wouldn't have given a time out then after Alexander feels and what he's been through all day.

  • @afriendofbean Mm-hmm.

  • @Rkerekes13 Maybe if Alexander had his purple yo-yo that glows in the dark with him the whole time even at school, and never felt it was lost, he probably would have been a lot happier through the whole cartoon (even if he got a time out) and he probably wouldn't of had a very bad day as he was saying through the cartoon and to his father at 2:06. I guess if Alexander's yo-yo was never found, he probably would have moved away to Australia, so luckily his mom found his yo-yo at the end.
