the word "world" means in the same context of "whoever believeth" your exactly right my brother. Clearly not everyone in the "world" is going to believe therefore those who do believe will not perish and have everlasting life. And saying that the "world" will not perish and have everlasting life is called universalism and is completely defeating the purpose of the Gospel.
