Just saying, I read that on Wikipedia. It said Eoin Colfer officaly said or something that the new book was coming out. I also read that he said that that might be the last book of Artemis Fowl, or at least for 3 years. I wish there were more. I really like Artemis Fowl books and stuff.

I think in singapore it came out much earlier..and I have a feeling The Lost Colony is the last book coz there is a big THE END at the last page which wasnt there on all other 4 books of Artemis Fowl.

its definatley not the last book. at the end artemis had blue sparks that come out of his hand when he is in the room with Butler. and the the last sentence is "twins?" i think eoin colfer wouldn't have new stuff happening and not have a new book to explain it
