Hello, if is possible I need a translation .. how to write in hindi "ONLY ON ME"? Meaning "I can only count on me" but I only need the translation of the part "only on me".
Being Indian I'm fluent in Hindi ,but that's not the only language in India .there's Punjabi ,Konkani,Marathi ,malyalam(think I spelled that wrong) etc....basically depends on which part in India your from ,so yeah lot of divisions there too.
Why is "Aap kaisee hain" written this way? particularly "HAIN" it hasn't got a "N" in the word. I'ts like "Nahin" for no, the correct spellig is Na-ee, THERE IS NO "N" IN THE SENTENCE! Why in the hell do they keep adding letters that aren't there?
@Imanuelization That's because of nasalization, I guess it's easier to notice/pronounce it if it's written. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just a beginner :D
@TheRuth101 Theres as such no hindi equivalent to 'Good Afternoon'. Greeting eachother is one of d easiest things in Hindi. Whether u wanna say Good Morning/Afternoon, Hello/Hi, just say 'Namastey' (Num-us-té, the 't' is like a Spanish t rather than an English t). Use it at any time of the day and with anyone. What the video here tells u r the literal translations of the english greetings, nobody actually uses them. But if you want to know it is - Shubh Din! ( 'u' like in 'bush')
the last phrase should be " I need some medicine for my headache". This has to be one of the most confusing languages to learn. Much more difficult than Arabic
@RedQNZ I would like to clarify that the word for thank you in Hindi is actually "Dhanyavaad". "Shukriya" is not from Hindi, but is a loanword from Arabic.
50 % of sentences are in sansikrit or pure hindi which is not used in india at all if you need any help for hindi, then contact me @ fahadaliin@gmail.com I live in delhi

For anyone looking for beginning lessons, I've said it many times and I'll say it some more. Check out rhishimittal and itwasnoteasy. But you can skip itwasnoteasy's first lesson as it's a little slow and boring, but the rest are good. I'm subscribed to both.
Phonetic and Devanagari subtitles are needed. mai samajha nahin reja. Well I understand a little because I've already taken some lessons but others won't. And I can't learn anything new if I hear you wrong. Keep it up, I appreciate it, just add subtitles please.
I agree - it's incredibly difficult for a non HIndi speaker to repeat these phrases without some kind of phonetic script underneath. Will keep trying though!!
@Harnas31 Hey Hamas, I live in London too. I'm Indian, a native Hindi speaker. I'm putting up some video tutorials to teach Hindi on my channel. Would love some feedback. Thanks.
Aap ka naam kya hai is the commonly used and grammaticaly the right one (I believe), though if you say the latter, it would still go unnoticed and equally intelligible.
These phrases are very good as they are the basics, however you speak fast and not that clearly, i had trouble hearing what you were saying and the pronounciation. if you repated the sentence a few times that would hv been great
well, if you say you are a scholar you're supposed to use brains , hai na? A teacher is one that helps you learn, so it takes some effort from both sides.
you should upload a video where you repeat the hindi phrase in english..then it would be good to download it as mp3 file

@Imanuelization to emphasize the nasalization of the vowels because there is no difference in English.
