Relying on your arm as a catcher is the biggest mistake i have seen catchers of my age make over the last 10 years. Most of them injured their arm, the rest of them are to damn slow. It's all about the quick release. Slow release = safe most of the time.
if the catcher catches the ball, gets up, and throws to 2nd just as fast as the pitcher throws to the plate....that means the catcher throws better than the pitcher, and maybe they should switch positions.
I think duncan bishop's numbers sound more realistic.
@wuteverfloatsurkayak u dont know much about baseball do u, its not about how hard a pitcher throws it, its all about command and accuracy and being able to throw junk pitches
@wuteverfloatsurkayak Putting his leg up counts for time too. you honestly think a catcher can throw the same time as a PITCHER when the cacher has to throw close to twice he distance the pitcher has to throw!
@TheAmericananarchy That was my point aimed at someone else. that's why i jokingly said 'maybe they (P&C) should switch positions'. obviously you missed what i was saying
Ok, heres a quick fact. Timing shows that the fastest that any MLB pitcher catcher combination can throw to 2nd is 3.0 seconds. Rickey Henderson could run the 90 feet in 2.9. He would be caught on bad jumps and slides. pitchers can get their pitch to the plate in .4-8 seconds. the other 2.6-2.2 is the catcher. In Highschool ball the time is around 4.65, TOPS, so run faster. You want your 90 foot to be like an amazing NFL 40-yard time in highschool ball

Love the shots of ball players legs and butts.
Hot guys in nice pants that grip and show all lines and cuts of their muscles.
Basically, it's gay porn.
