who in gods name would want to playin the big10? ok, sure, you can beat your teams like toledo, youngstown state, navy, new mexico state, akron, kent and the rest of the shit teams in the big10...but seriously, why go to a team that gets embarrassed time after time again on the big stage? it seem like you guys get decent players, yet you lose all of the time. maybe that sweater vest of a coach isnt that great. cooper-esque??
the only reason? how about penn st getting blown out in the rose bowl last year. about the big10 going 1-5 in bowl games last year, 2-5 the year before. the conference is a joke. sec, big12, pac10, mountain west, big east, big10 in that order
Great you just named every conference Michigan has a winning record against... I have no idea what your point is, the fact is Seantrel will be doing a Michigan visit this weekend and watch along with over 110,000 fans the #1 football program of all time, both in wins and %..
Come back when you learn something about football..
seantrel isn't going to michigan. i'm glad you feel that way. who gives a shit if there is 110,000 at a game. youre sad little team will lose 5 games this year and it will be hilarious. and keep living in the past about all the success michigan has had prior to the year 2000. get back to me when you can compete w/ teams like alabama and florida. i hope you guys didnt lose to michigan state this year. lol even notre dame beat michigan state
Again you continue to show how little you know. I suggest you check the scores of the games FL and Alabama had vs Michigan. NM I'll save you the time Michigan kicked there ass..Michigan owns the SEC..
did you see the 2003 outback bowl? how about the 2007 capital one bowl? i guess not. michigan is 23-5-1 against the sec. the team that has really hurt the big ten IS osu because they are 0-8 against the sec. dont talk crap about michigan unless you have the facts to back it up.
wow...did you just reference the outback bowl and the capital one bowl to actually HELP your arguement? really!? i bet when you go to the motor city bowl this year, you'll be all kinds of pumped up to beat marshall. what hurts the big10 is every team in the big10...well, big11 i guess. christ, you guys cant even count the right number of teams. you're right, i do need some facts. hmmm, what would be good. oh, appalachain st. oh, toledo. could you have had two worse losses?? good luck
do you know who we beat in the capitol one bowl and outback bowl? SEC's beloved florida gators. and the 2007 team that lost to appalachian state pretty much kicked floridas ass, so what does that say for the SEC? nothing good
wow. where do i begin with you? first off, congrats on beating that 4 loss florida team. well done. secondly, what does that say about the SEC? well, i guess it says that they keep winning national championships. when did michigan win a title? 1997 when the "split" with nebraska? also, how many times in a row are you going to lose to osu...the team you claim is the reason the big10 sucks? also, are you 2-5 in your last 7 bowl games in this decade? yep, go blue
i say stay local and go to minnesota.. im mean he'll start as a frosh bring the school exposure and earn respect in the big ten... he will still have girls gazing at him wherever he go's the dude is 6'7''
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
If he wants to have the best coaching at his disposal, if he wants to have the best shot at being a #1 draft pick, If he wants to have the best looking girls to gaze at on campus, He should choose tOSU.
The only thing at this time that leads to him favoring USC is he is doing a visit there, and his visit to OSU and ND will be during the USC games. Still its a long way to NLOI day and anything can happen and usually does.. Everyone is still in it for him..
Those are not his favs, just where he will take his officials, he is using them for schools futher away. ND has 0 chance USC has a good shot as does Minn, and Michigan is still in it as he has always said he will come back for another unofficial vist, you do know after his visit there he named them his leader? no i guess not by your lame post..
He has already been to Michigan, and he will return again. Its USC, FL, Michigan and i think as of now Minnesota may have a slight lead with Michigan a close behind. I doubt USC and FL will have a shot at getting more then a visit.
I would love to see him at Michigan, but could understand if he chose to stay in his home state.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Nope. Oklahoma, Florida, ND, USC and Minnesota as his top 5. He'll look at other schools, but chances are slim and none he'll go somewhere other than those top 5.IMO I think he'll end up at USC. however, ND is the wildcard in this race. He likes ND (campus and coaches), one of his best friend's plays fro ND (Michael Floyd), and his high school is a pipeline for Notre Dame (Floyd, Powers-Neal, and 3-4 others).
Michigan? Why would he want to be with a bunch of losers coming off a 5-7 or 6-6 in 09?
The country's No. 1 offensive tackle, Seantrel Henderson (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham), has selected his five official visits according to his father Sean Henderson.
"I definitely know his five official visits," Sean Henderson said. "He will visit Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida, USC and Notre Dame.
he's made unofficial visits to Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan State. But the schools he is taking official visits to are all pretty high on his list."
4. def. arent many scrubs in our hs football programs, hopkins minnetonka edina wayzata, eden prarie, cretin ,all have been nationally ranked. so shut up and go wrestle some crocodiles ya hick
he goes to a 5a school, which is the biggest in MN, i go to a 4a, hes team was in state mine wasnt, i saw a game of his and he is a playamker as an o linemen, hes nasty good
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
He has all the tools to be great and I hope he makes the decision to go to OU or FLA. If he wants to compete for championships and have a legitimate shot as a high NFL Draft choice that's what he will do.... Boomer Sooner baby.....
Easy to see why he is rated # 1 at 6'8 and 300 lbs he can start just about anywhere right away, add to that he is busy playing Basketball this spring and it shows he is a great athlete, he can slam that ball down!
You see this team in this video have such a solid offense and the only reason for that is the O-line. You see there EXTRAORDINARY pass and run blocking. THe quarterback has luxury time to throw and run the ball, no pressure whatsoever. With seantral and the other 4, there offense is bound to win consistent championships. I give that huge props!
GamblerLV knows exactly what im saying... your not going to be the #1 recruit in the nation for no reason OBRI you have no idea what your sayin so quit talkin out of you ass.. i never said MN has more talent than FL.. ill say it again.. MN has more talent than MOST states, we obviously dont compare to TX and CA and FL but we are better than MOST meaning at least 25 other states.. if you can recognize talent so good why dont you put it to use and become a scout? God damn quit hatin dudes for real
Agree. I wouldn't try to break down each state to see who has the best talented player because I got better thing to do with my life. MN does have talent Henderson and Michael Floyd are two of many.
I agree a little with OBRI8211. But I think that Henderson is a top ten talent. But for number one recruit in the country I would have to give it to Jeff Luc. That guy is simply a beast! Not only can he pursue the ball with lightning speed he can deliver a punishing hit to follow, and on top of that he can catch and run the ball real well.
He is rated the # 1 prospect for a reason, so dont know what you all are arguing about, he is the real deal no matter who he lines up against. or where he comes from...
I not so sure about that... Ive seen enough "real deal" prospects flame out. Its best to hold comments like that until u see them agains equal compitition. The highschool de he's facing are no bryan orakpos, no everette browns...
PQWERTOY congrats, by your calculations and facts you put out upwards of 10 D1 football players a year from Minn? I mean you can name 1 who went to ND last year.... and he obviously turned that program right around....
Florida sends multiple guys to D1 football off 1 high school team!!
You cannot compare the talent level and its silly to try
My only point was, Henderson will see much bigger, more athletic Dlineman at the next level so im not sure how great he will be.....
MY GOD!! I SAW LIKE 3 MINS oF DiZ VID.. 100% HE'L BE A HELL OF A COLLEGE BALL PLAYER! HE PUTS THE D-END ON SKATES, AND DRIVES DEM LIKE 15 YDS BACK! DAYYUMMM
OBRI i never said Minnesota had great talent.. better than half would be in the top 25 states which i believe we are in considering all the garbage small states that are out there.. just dont go around saying minnesota has no athletes.. ever heard of Hopkins? there one of the elite basketball schools in the nation with at least 5 players from their roster going D1 just this year.. Michael Floyd ever heard of him? Started at ND as a true freshman.. dont make statements without getting facts first
The #1 Rivals Recruit in the Nation OL Seantrel Henderson of Cretin-Durham Hall, after unofficial visits to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan State and Michigan, said of Michigan, "loved it more than any other college I've been to so far.
I love how you had to go back to 2008 and 2003 to name 2 big time football players who played their hs ball in Minnesota... just proving my point, chauncey billups played hs basketball in CO..... that doesnt mean Colorado has good high school players, it means they had one good player crushing the shit outta everyone else in the state....
I never said Minn, had no talent.... but if you compare the kids he is playing everyday to competition that kids are facing in other, top hs football states, its better
PQWERTOY you are an idiot, you might as well through rhode island in there with those other idiot states you mentioned
Minn hs football is ok... at best... no better than middle of the pack
haha everyone talks like there scouts or something... this boy had a short article in sports illustrated and he is ranked the #1 recruit in his class by PAID PROFESSIONAL SCOUTS... he is no joke! quit sayin that hes no good cause your just going to look stupid when he starts killin... and btw minnesota does have better talent than most states considering states such as maine wyoming vermont etc.
i don't think it's safe to say that minnesota has no athletes. michael floyd graduated from CDH in 2008 and he is doing whatever he wants on the field at ND. Larry Fitzgerald played hs football in minnesota. i'm not saying that minnesota compares to states like ohio, california, texas, florida, but i am saying that minnesota football is underrated and just because of the size of the state we should not get overlooked.
No kidding they play football in every state but you are making yourself look like the idiot by saying minnesota is "stronger than most states" providing college football talent.... REALLY?!?!?! Minn, one of the better high school football states? I hope you said this while biting your tounge bc if you believe this you have no part discussing football in any arena.
Let me know when Univ. of MInnesota does anything!!! with homegrown talent!!! ANYTHING!!!
Is it just me or does Mike Adams (OT prospect from last year) seem a lot better than Seantrel?
Look him up because his HS film is absurd. No doubt Seantrel is amazing and deserving of the #1 OL position in this yrs class, but I wonder what Adams would've gotten had he been in this years class.....
Minnesota may not be TX, CA, FL or OH, but there is talent. Cretin especially puts out a ton of D-1 players. Minnesota has recently produced Marion Barber, Larry Fitzgerald, Dom Barber, Joe Mauer (who was the #1 QB in his class but played baseball), John Carlson, Ryan Harris, Matt Spaeth, Mark Setterstrom, Trevor Laws, James Laurenitis- That's just off the top of my head in the last few years.
Thank you dude....im from Minnesota but a Florida fan and these fools said Minnesota does not compare to TX, CAL, FLA.......which is not what i said, all i said was its better than you would think and you proved my point by listing those names
From one private school to another. Say hello to another USC recruit for 2010. No other private university dominates college football like USC. Something that Cretin-Derham Hall has in common with their respective state.
This kid is huge and hes got good balance, but how good is his footwork and he doesnt look like he plays with a chip on his shoulder or has a mean streak in him, maybe something to worry about it in an O-line prospect... Looks good but he is playing against kids from Minnesota, I didn't even know they played high school football up there.. It's hard to evaluate top tier talent when playing against inferior competition
You cannot compare the state of Minnesota to top level high school football states (Fla, Texas, Cali)
I'm sure Minnesota has it's players, every state does, but he is not practicing or playing with top level guys week in and week out so im not convinced he is going to be able to dominate big fast athletes playing DE
Nothing against Minnesota, but come on, we're not lookin at a talent rich area for HS Football
I never once said Minnesota compared to Fla, Tex, Cali.....what i said was he plays for a top notch private school that does play out of state sometimes
Cretin-Derham Hall always plays good teams, so its not like he is dominating a bad kid on a bad team once in a while
im not a Minnesota homer....obviously i like Florida but i have lived and played in this state and all i meant is its better than you would think
Unfortunetly hockey is number 1 in this state....which sucks, i promise
im pretty sure ppl play american football in every state you fucking idiot minnesota might be small but we have a ton of talent and were stronger then most states.
This guy gotta step his game up.

who in gods name would want to playin the big10? ok, sure, you can beat your teams like toledo, youngstown state, navy, new mexico state, akron, kent and the rest of the shit teams in the big10...but seriously, why go to a team that gets embarrassed time after time again on the big stage? it seem like you guys get decent players, yet you lose all of the time. maybe that sweater vest of a coach isnt that great. cooper-esque??
KBTV10 2 years ago
The only reason the big 10 gets embarrased is because of shitty overrated Ohio State
UofMgoblue2012 2 years ago 2
the only reason? how about penn st getting blown out in the rose bowl last year. about the big10 going 1-5 in bowl games last year, 2-5 the year before. the conference is a joke. sec, big12, pac10, mountain west, big east, big10 in that order
KBTV10 2 years ago
Great you just named every conference Michigan has a winning record against... I have no idea what your point is, the fact is Seantrel will be doing a Michigan visit this weekend and watch along with over 110,000 fans the #1 football program of all time, both in wins and %..
Come back when you learn something about football..
GamblerLV 2 years ago
seantrel isn't going to michigan. i'm glad you feel that way. who gives a shit if there is 110,000 at a game. youre sad little team will lose 5 games this year and it will be hilarious. and keep living in the past about all the success michigan has had prior to the year 2000. get back to me when you can compete w/ teams like alabama and florida. i hope you guys didnt lose to michigan state this year. lol even notre dame beat michigan state
KBTV10 2 years ago
Again you continue to show how little you know. I suggest you check the scores of the games FL and Alabama had vs Michigan. NM I'll save you the time Michigan kicked there ass..Michigan owns the SEC..
Move on little kiddie..
GamblerLV 2 years ago
did you see the 2003 outback bowl? how about the 2007 capital one bowl? i guess not. michigan is 23-5-1 against the sec. the team that has really hurt the big ten IS osu because they are 0-8 against the sec. dont talk crap about michigan unless you have the facts to back it up.
wolverinefan24 2 years ago
wow...did you just reference the outback bowl and the capital one bowl to actually HELP your arguement? really!? i bet when you go to the motor city bowl this year, you'll be all kinds of pumped up to beat marshall. what hurts the big10 is every team in the big10...well, big11 i guess. christ, you guys cant even count the right number of teams. you're right, i do need some facts. hmmm, what would be good. oh, appalachain st. oh, toledo. could you have had two worse losses?? good luck
KBTV10 2 years ago
do you know who we beat in the capitol one bowl and outback bowl? SEC's beloved florida gators. and the 2007 team that lost to appalachian state pretty much kicked floridas ass, so what does that say for the SEC? nothing good
wolverinefan24 2 years ago
wow. where do i begin with you? first off, congrats on beating that 4 loss florida team. well done. secondly, what does that say about the SEC? well, i guess it says that they keep winning national championships. when did michigan win a title? 1997 when the "split" with nebraska? also, how many times in a row are you going to lose to osu...the team you claim is the reason the big10 sucks? also, are you 2-5 in your last 7 bowl games in this decade? yep, go blue
KBTV10 2 years ago
He's not going to end up at Michigan, he's leaning towards Ohio State, look it up.

GamblerLV 2 years ago

But the schools he is taking official visits to are all pretty high on his list."
cameroncrazie818 2 years ago
Your talking OLD news that has been posted here long ago, please try to keep up.. Officials have 0 to do with total visits..
GamblerLV 2 years ago
yea i've heard that too but a few weeks ago there was an article on freep that said he was going to take an official to michigan and usc

What gives you the idea that michigan is going to get an official. Seantrel has already came out and said his top 3 are USC, Florida and OSU.

Not true and I don't see why you're here, he's said nothing about those Fartans in ELansing.

Easy to see why he is rated # 1 at 6'8 and 300 lbs he can start just about anywhere right away, add to that he is busy playing Basketball this spring and it shows he is a great athlete, he can slam that ball down!
GamblerLV 2 years ago
You see this team in this video have such a solid offense and the only reason for that is the O-line. You see there EXTRAORDINARY pass and run blocking. THe quarterback has luxury time to throw and run the ball, no pressure whatsoever. With seantral and the other 4, there offense is bound to win consistent championships. I give that huge props!
Guavajelly808 2 years ago
GamblerLV knows exactly what im saying... your not going to be the #1 recruit in the nation for no reason OBRI you have no idea what your sayin so quit talkin out of you ass.. i never said MN has more talent than FL.. ill say it again.. MN has more talent than MOST states, we obviously dont compare to TX and CA and FL but we are better than MOST meaning at least 25 other states.. if you can recognize talent so good why dont you put it to use and become a scout? God damn quit hatin dudes for real
pqwertoy1234 2 years ago 2
Agree. I wouldn't try to break down each state to see who has the best talented player because I got better thing to do with my life. MN does have talent Henderson and Michael Floyd are two of many.
StoicBehavioR 2 years ago
I agree a little with OBRI8211. But I think that Henderson is a top ten talent. But for number one recruit in the country I would have to give it to Jeff Luc. That guy is simply a beast! Not only can he pursue the ball with lightning speed he can deliver a punishing hit to follow, and on top of that he can catch and run the ball real well.
09thejonsie 2 years ago
Jeff is a fine player at LB but he may grow into a DE, and if thats the case, will he be big enough.
Seantrel Henderson you know what your getting and thats a great LT, and they are hard to find.
GamblerLV 2 years ago 2
He is rated the # 1 prospect for a reason, so dont know what you all are arguing about, he is the real deal no matter who he lines up against. or where he comes from...
GamblerLV 2 years ago
I not so sure about that... Ive seen enough "real deal" prospects flame out. Its best to hold comments like that until u see them agains equal compitition. The highschool de he's facing are no bryan orakpos, no everette browns...
treyglock 2 years ago
PQWERTOY congrats, by your calculations and facts you put out upwards of 10 D1 football players a year from Minn? I mean you can name 1 who went to ND last year.... and he obviously turned that program right around....
Florida sends multiple guys to D1 football off 1 high school team!!
You cannot compare the talent level and its silly to try
My only point was, Henderson will see much bigger, more athletic Dlineman at the next level so im not sure how great he will be.....
OBRI8211 2 years ago

OBRI i never said Minnesota had great talent.. better than half would be in the top 25 states which i believe we are in considering all the garbage small states that are out there.. just dont go around saying minnesota has no athletes.. ever heard of Hopkins? there one of the elite basketball schools in the nation with at least 5 players from their roster going D1 just this year.. Michael Floyd ever heard of him? Started at ND as a true freshman.. dont make statements without getting facts first

GamblerLV 2 years ago
I love how you had to go back to 2008 and 2003 to name 2 big time football players who played their hs ball in Minnesota... just proving my point, chauncey billups played hs basketball in CO..... that doesnt mean Colorado has good high school players, it means they had one good player crushing the shit outta everyone else in the state....

unless your from FLA, UGA, TEX, CALI, NC your in no room to talk

I never said Minn, had no talent.... but if you compare the kids he is playing everyday to competition that kids are facing in other, top hs football states, its better

Minn hs football is ok... at best... no better than middle of the pack

haha everyone talks like there scouts or something... this boy had a short article in sports illustrated and he is ranked the #1 recruit in his class by PAID PROFESSIONAL SCOUTS... he is no joke! quit sayin that hes no good cause your just going to look stupid when he starts killin... and btw minnesota does have better talent than most states considering states such as maine wyoming vermont etc.
pqwertoy1234 2 years ago
i don't think it's safe to say that minnesota has no athletes. michael floyd graduated from CDH in 2008 and he is doing whatever he wants on the field at ND.

ANYTHING!!!
U HAVE NO ATHLETES... SORRY

He's not even close to utterly dominating those scrubs from Minnesota no way the #1 prospect in the nation.
rjhaberstroh 2 years ago
This kid is huge and hes got good balance, but how good is his footwork and he doesnt look like he plays with a chip on his shoulder or has a mean streak in him, maybe something to worry about it in an O-line prospect... Looks good but he is playing against kids from Minnesota, I didn't even know they played high school football up there.. It's hard to evaluate top tier talent when playing against inferior competition
OBRI8211 2 years ago
How is there inferior talent in Minnesota?? Plenty of top players have come from Minnesota...There is talent in every state...
cdsplaya 2 years ago
im from Minnesota man......the talent is better than you wouild think
he plays at a top notch private school
this state has produced Larry Fitgerald
UrGatorBaitFLA 2 years ago
And... ???
You cannot compare the state of Minnesota to top level high school football states (Fla, Texas, Cali)
I'm sure Minnesota has it's players, every state does, but he is not practicing or playing with top level guys week in and week out so im not convinced he is going to be able to dominate big fast athletes playing DE
Nothing against Minnesota, but come on, we're not lookin at a talent rich area for HS Football
OBRI8211 2 years ago
I never once said Minnesota compared to Fla, Tex, Cali.....what i said was he plays for a top notch private school that does play out of state sometimes
Cretin-Derham Hall always plays good teams, so its not like he is dominating a bad kid on a bad team once in a while
im not a Minnesota homer....obviously i like Florida but i have lived and played in this state and all i meant is its better than you would think
