  • "Grow some balls and do downhill" ... Can 8yr olds stop commenting plz! What happens after you reach the bottom? You wind your way back... thats called XC. Try and keep up on a WHOLE trail, then talk about how big your kahonas are from your mums laptop...

  • did you roll the camera on a cable for some of it?

  • very good job guys. excellent camera work and editing, so nice trails. the video is authentic. very pleased to see. very good vibes.

  • @deRulsZ to be honest this film is one of the best pieces of mountain bike film i have seen this crew should think about feature length. it inspires me to get out & ride.

  • i think i just saw WALKING SHIT!!!!!!!

  • you have to be kidding me right? this isn't even XC. learn to ride a bike before making a video about how shit you are.

  • Ok great filming, editing

But the trails are made so a 5 year old with training wheels could go and ride this... There's no crazy drops, gay ass helmets, I could probably go and ride that on a scooter, get better please

    For the love of god!

  • @YakkuzaaHD

Dude now they took out the woops which means that the rollers are just a flat surface. It is lame.

  • @StuartHaight exactly! i hate when people ride this type of shit, i mean grow some balls and do downhill

  • @YakkuzaaHD Downhilling however is not a cheap sport. Snowshoe = 4.5hrs, Diablo = 5hrs, 7springs = 4hrs, pretty much half the slam is the gas.

Instead what would be nice is that they [MORE org] build more tech stuff to theirs and ours standards, then slap a sign that says "You are liable for your own injuries." That way we can keep the more tech stuff for us more technically savvy riders, without someone sueing.

  • @YakkuzaaHD I hate it when people talk shit and don't have a clue, shut up and ride. You sound like you still live in your parents basement, yo.

  • Sweet footage I give the filmier props nice job guys

  • 16 people dont have a bike :D

  • loose the reflectors!

  • Excellent video. And what is this bike?

  • Awesome video! Have you done your bike chain necklare by yourself?

  • how do you set up a camera pulley for cheap?

  • Very nice video guys!.. dope angle shots. You featured my favorite local trails.

  • You need to try those powerline roads with a few ATV's!

We do MTB and ATV, hands down, ATVing powerlines trails is alot more fun!!

  • Nice ride, Grüss aus Mexiko!!!

  • Fantastic vid! puts my efforts to shame ;)

  • I like how the bikes dont cost a lot and the riders are not extremely pro.

  • Thats a reaally nice cable cam 0:51 - 1:14 :P

  • great production quality, i ride in the nova area, i go to wakefield all the time, i think i could give you some good phootage if you're interested

  • Sorry if it seemed like critisim, this vid inspires me to go ride my bike job done. it's a great video, and goes to show what independant filmakers can do.

i only hope that one day i can do half the job you guys have done. well done.

  • very nice ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @Spacedraptor If we shot ANY footage going uphill, this video wouldn't have gotten anywhere, lycra or not.

  • @Spacedraptor Sorry if it seemed like critisim, this vid inspires me to go ride my bike job done. it's a great video, and goes to show what independant filmakers can do.

i only hope that one day i can do half the job you guys have done. well done.

  • @Spacedraptor bien dicho. well said.

  • Wow...this clip was maginficant indeed. The photo angels is really the most ambigious I have ever seen on the Tube. Nice work guys! Thank you for sharing it with the world. J/Sweden

  • I really enjoy it. Great .It's remind me of trail we like to ride.

  • That place loooks so cool! i would be happy to ride that road!

  • no offense but this is is more like trail, not XC.

  • So cool. You really enjoy riding !

  • how are you getting those moving shots like at 0:54

    they are so smooth

  • Holy shit I live near here lmao! Great video man!

  • rode at fountainhead. Thats my first real trail ride.

  • i really liked this vid. thumbs up man!

  • is that dirt jump section at the end at accotink???

  • cool editing but the actually riding is kinda gay

  • Great camera work, makes me want to go out and ride, job done!

  • I really like this video, this is the spirit of XC mountain biking!!

  • where is uphill Oo? just rolling.... nice vid anyway

  • nice clip

  • Great video! Not sure why some commenters are dissing the rider. Those trails look like a lot of fun.

  • Good work, I enjoyed watching this video.

  • Great Vid! what is XC?

  • @frankyland2007

    cross country

  • No... I don´t like it so much.

  • very nice filming and...spirit.!

  • nice video

  • Awesome! MORE rocks! I rode Schaeffer Farm in MD today, they've done a bunch of trail work. I thought the riding was better than average. video can't do justice to that set of step drops at fountainhead. The only time XC riding looks gnarly is when you crash, otherwise you've got to huck 50 foot cliffs to get props. Keep filming, the beginning drifts were well done.

  • Great editing.

Horrible rider for having fun with their bikes? Get a life.

    Well done guys. Keep'em coming.

  • the first part is soooo boring -.-

  • are all the shots on cable? thats awesome!

  • Truly amazing video..!

  • ...And that is a very good video ...no expensive bikes, just a pair of guys enjoying their bikes...thats the spirit, nice job!!!

  • @shaggybikes lol how u know the bike aint expensive, good mountain bikes aint cheap

  • Good Job

  • just perfect...very good job my friend

  • Realy awesome video!

I am also interesting in how did you manage to record that great sequence from 0:51 to 1:14. Did you use some cam stabilizer like Hague camcorder stabilizer?

    Thanx, and rock on! :)

  • Woaaah!! Great video and editing! How did you get the smooth video at the beginning? It doesn't even look like your touching the ground!

  • there is a cable in the air with te camera hanging on it

  • very nice.... and that is a lot coming from me

  • nice video well done grate composition....love it!!!

  • love this.

  • That was an awesome video. Great job, makes me want to ride east coast trails even though I live in ID.

  • Great ride,nice trial

    Marko,Serbia

  • está muy bien hecho, enhorabuena!!!!

  • superb nice video... love it.

  • Ya... I saw ur video n it was awsome!!! Nice keep it up n keep in touch...

  • Great Location, Great Trails, Great Video! Good Job Guys!

  • Hey Stu, It was a pleasure speaking with you today. I'm giving 4 stars. call and I'll explain why 4 and not 5. Any one contenplating raging on me for giving 4 stars instead of 5, Screw You! Call me Stu

  • Gott das is der aufwendigst produzierte schrott den ich je gesehn hab... wollt ihr damit new world disorder verarschen?

  • in my opinion, this one of the most professionaly filmed independant videos on youtube :), great stuff, nice work 5 stars

  • What is your video gear setup and what is your preferred video editing software?

  • Was the second rider to be shown riding an IH warrior 4.0? The white one.

  • Just shitting ya Stu! Was well filmed.

  • Did you use a steadicam?

  • LOL I'll give you that one.

  • awsome video really good quality

  • is he riding a 29er? those tires look big

  • Which mistakes did the rider make? Are there any mistakes he could make, given the simplicity of the course? I believe not. BTW: No one claimed that there would be action and dangerous stunts in the video.

  • I think he means, that the rider looks stiff and dosent ride "smooth".

Great Movie!!! I would love to go there rideing.

  • All i'm saying is that professional editing and camera work deserves a professional rider

  • I want to get on my bike right now. This is so beautiful In High Quality!

  • more than 1 minute to the point? :/ I dont like so long start. :/

  • wow awsome!!

  • Good job!!!

i didn' t believe i could find such a good video in youtube!!!

    awesome

  • very nice trails, nice forest and nice driving with nice quality!

    Well done guys!

    5*

  • Awesome- inspired me to get to Wakefield and Accotink yesterday. Where was the last sequence shot? (~3:40)

  • Great camera Man ; D

  • do you have pictures of the cable cam?

  • You mean that helicopter we rented? Forgot to take pics. :)

  • do they have a website? do you hire the operator as well?

  • Haha no dude just kidding, I built a super ghetto looking rig, and either way the camera is only a pound, it's not done with one of those pro ones like an HVX or whatever.

  • Really good - given me lots of ideas but how are you getting the chasing shots? If its hand done then brilliant and I'mpractising now!

  • WOW! Brilliant video! well put together, realy high quality. Particulaly loved the sweeping shots at the beggining and the shots from the bike towards the end, but all of it was brillaint. and off course the trails (and cycling) looked prety good to. Made me want to trip over the pond to have a go! Just out of intrest what camera/cameras did you use?

    Keep up the good work!

  • i have never seen such a nice and lovely video before. fantastic!

    where are the trails?

    and antoher question

    what is better

canyon nerve xc or canyon nerve am?

    thanks

    glmbl

  • really nice vid.. great shots.. and camera movements.. can u tell me how u did it??

thanks for the post.. please post more..

  • This is shockingly well done - good job. Did you actually use a cable cam or just motion stabilize chase shots?

    Love those trails.

  • awesome video great editing and shots

  • Great work!

  • incredibly well made, great cable cam shots and great quality.

  • Dirty video, great camera angles, well shot, nice trails at the end.

  • Dirty?

  • Awesome HQ video; gorgeous qualtity, colours, camera angles, flows and pacing - not to mention the apt music. Oh how I'd like to ride that track!

  • I agree with the ones who appreciate and respect the video and i do the same.

Cycling is a beautifull thing and XC cycling is even better.

I wish they made contests like that at us too, but my bycicle would probably not resist the high effort .

What i mean is those jumps, that if i would make with my bycicle, i would just damage the wheel even though its a dual aluminium, (its actually not a single hub, i cant really explain, but they make it from aluminium and it is more durable)

  • awesome vid, thanks for posting up!

  • i agree with you spuddfluff!

    nice hq movie!

  • Realy wish people would stop wearing the skin tights and start doing XC like this.

  • Absolutely stundingly recorded, great angles, beautiful views! :) And the quality of the vid, just as it should be! :D

  • quality is sikk

  • very very nice! i am a huge fan of all three of those trails! but i'm just wondering what the last location was, starting at about 3:40... thanks!

  • liking the work,

i've been investigating producing some mtb footage over here in england.

is anyone aware of the equipment set up used:

i.e. camera/rig or is it a trade secret?

  • Thanks for a great film. I live near The Tink and Wakefield and ride there almost every day. Fountainhead is also wonderful. I also have to thank MORE for the hours and hours of work they've done to give me one of world's best urban MTB playgrounds.

  • Excellent video! Most professional and we really enjoyed watching it. Keep up the good work!

  • that was really good.

  • that video was amazing! been to all these trails and are really fun :)

  • Aww, what happen to the teaser for the DH/FR video? My half-second of fame was rested on that clip!

  • Su-weet.
