He stated its all about his practice. He don't even see these other kids mentally. He hears his dad's advice from the 4 hours of practice before dinner. He is mentally sound and knows where it matters. The kids he plays are good too, but its his focus that set's him apart. Watch him during his practices. Watch him during interviews. Most boys his age are complaining and making lame excuses, but this is what he wants to do.  Self-motivation coupled with practice is highly potent!

I'm an old fart. I remember Muggsy Bogues when he played for Wake Forest. In the NBA Muggsy was a phenom but in college he was beyond belief...and he was only 5'3" when he played in the NBA. He's still top 20 all time in the NBA for Steals and Assists. This kid can be as short as he wants to be...he'll still be an all star if he keeps the work ethic and doesn't get hurt.

Its not the skill that impresses me most, its how well he knows who to pass to and when. Also you can tell he realizes he'll have a hard time scoring at his size so he does damage by passing the ball. Already has great bball IQ and the skill is just gonna get better.
