This book was a cheap spin-off of Mark Haddon's 2003 novel, "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime." Both protagonists are male, autistic, and go off into a large city to look for a family member. Coincidence? I think not. Shame on you, Mr. Foer, for copying Mr. Haddon's idea two years later. Disgrace! And yes this movie sucks.
