@SilentPhantom007 Actually noise is a type of music, which is badass itself, Slipknot is also badass, they were good until they started adding guitar solos the solo period is when they got generic (When I say solos I mean Vol 3 and the new album)

@Zando24 i had the idea that In Flames sold out for a long time, but now i see that not many bands were doing this kind of style back in 2002. i think this album really influenced the "screams for verses, cleans for choruses" trend. also, no bands of this style were using synths at that time. so if anything, they were taking a gamble and making a unique record, unsure of what people would think of it. theyve never been a "safe" band, and they never write the same record twice.

What are they doing to get so low on this song? Is it an octave pedal, or a 7/8 string? When they play this shit live it's up way higher in one of their other main tunings. Just curious cause it sounds wicked, but I can't seem to find a tab for this song on any of my usual sites. Great song, but I know it ain't in C standard or drop A#

@monox2k actually, im pretty sure it is drop A#, but the use of an octave pedal would make sense, cause it does sound alot lower than that. also, the tone of the guitars might make a slight difference in the way it sounds too, i know it does for my guitar. i dunno about a 7 string, but it is possible, cause this song is fuckin low. also, the bass is really low, so you couple with that with a down tuned guitar, you get some low riffs on the go

Depending, if you do drop g there is the higher than standard, but then there is also a lower, an octave lower than the one one you thing
