Scabies was definitely the best drummer of the punk era. I wish he'd get back with The Damned. Though New Rose is one of my all time faves, I have to admit this version gives the original a run for it's money. Saw The Damned last year, and seeing them next month, they still kick ass !!! Not bad for guys in their 50's !!!!!!!

Cripes ! Now that is news ! I look forward to seeing that happen. Maybe if they get back on the scene then there is more chance of them getting back with The Damned. But I get the impression there is a bit of bad feeling towards Rat, perhaps dating back to when he was doing the management side of things.

The album has already been released in Japan, currently there is an EP out for New Rose and the full album is out on September 11 with lots of tour dates to come!! Thanks for the comment!
