  • its not the refuse, but its the 90 to 180 to 360 spin that gets ya...

  • Ok First of all when i have been riding since i was 7(now im 11) I don't believe if you fall off your a good rider(I have NEVER falling off since 7 to 11) as i was saying its like loosing a video game and its good all you broke your arm from falling off and cause you lost your balance is good! Nonsense!!today the horse got spooked at Everything and jumped up all4 feet and i stayed on!!

  • i know everybody make mistakes but the woman on the haflinger is so stupid!!!! , 0:58

  • 0:43 fall was so funny

  • I agree with you that everyone falls :) and good riders will learn from these falls (usually :P). For example, if you dont get out of the saddle and your horse jumps big, you could fall off. But the next time, you will prob be more ready for it and WILL get out of the saddle. Lesson learnt. Its grand if you fall off, but try to learn something from it. Or get it on tape. :D

  • i fall off all the time but i love horses too much to quit

  • The girl who fell of the front onto her face/neck had to have broken something, ti looked terrible.

  • 1:52 Ouch...

  • People who laugh at these have obviously never been on a horse, let alone fallen off. Some say "oh this is the reason I hate horses" well obviously they've never had the joy of owning or spending time with a horse. Horses don't purposely try to hurt us, and they're surprisingly careful around people. My abused mare will flip out and kick other horses, but no matter how freaked out she gets, she always moves AWAY from me to freak out. She never hurt me.

  • @CherubHorse "People who laugh at these have obviously never been on a horse, let alone fallen off." I laugh when I fall, I laugh when other people fall. Gravity is funny.

  • @AmalamCooper I'm talking about PAINFUL falls. Where you get badly bruised. When you twist your neck and get whiplash. I would never laugh at anybody if I physically was there and saw them fall....they could have gotten hurt far worse than you may have seen.

  • ohhh mein gott! :O o_O

  • I have only fallen three times in my life... Maybe this is because I ride western... I am going to brush away all thoughts of going back to english. :L

  • 1:27 -1:33 defiantly not enough strides that is exerimly dangerous!!

  • @Farm1796 it's a bounce..

  • @Doc7988 lol haahaha silly people

  • @eddiesgun91

    @crazyhorsegirl222

    @raindropsfly

    @topphatt

Could you please let me know if I cna use your clips in my video! OUCH!!! OMG! They would all hurt heaps! Please either message me or reply! I would give you credit of course! :)

  • I've toughed it up when I fall. I don't cry, I laugh my ass off and correct the mistakes I made, I don't hurt my horse, I just pat him and say he did a good job, and I get back on and try again!

  • *is typing this comment with my sprained wrist that I got from falling off last weekend*

  • people that fall off some r good riders people that fall off a lot suck so yeah

  • i noticed with a lot of the falls in this video that they could have easily been prevented as it was poor form. either the rider didn't keep their heels down over the jump and so were thrown forward, or they looked at the jump and so forced the horse's neck toward preventing the horse from jumping and the one at about 1:45 seems to me that it was equipment failure although i'm not sure if the girth was just not properly done up and so came undone or if it truley snapped (seems unlikely).

  • You're right everyone does fall off! I fell off 2 weeks ago and a week ago 2 girls fell off.

  • I have fallen off 4 times in 10 years, all 4 have been bad, almost broke vertebrae after the saddle slipped... saddle slipped again and i almost broke my arm. I attribute my ability to stay on as my seat, in a lot of these falls people are too far forward, when shit hits the fan people lose balance. Despite the fact i'm not the greatest rider in the world and my balance is something that hinders certain aspects it has saved me, this is babies and school masters riding 3 or 4 times a week.

  • tja reiten muss gelernt sein und bei 1:32 ist der sprung zuuu eng <-------

  • in 3 lessons i had fallen off 4 times... it was a bad week... but it gives us something to laugh about now and know that those falls made us better riders!:D

  • For whatever reason, us humans have a strange habit of being amused at other people failing. That being said, I'm going to go back to laughing at these people.

  • i almost feel off a horse in riding lessons twice one was when my foot slid out from the sturups and i was like half way on lol then i grabed the horses main and helped my self back on ( i was troting when i was doing this so it was hard and it was only like my 5th lesson and no one saw XD) then the other time is when the horse i was riding got its hoov stuck in the durt and he triped and my face smashed into his neck ( hurt really bad) lol :)

  • SO I'M NOT GOOD AT RIDING BECAUSE I HAVEN'T FALLING OF YET!!!!! THANKS

  • Some very naughty ponys!

  • Their are only 2 bad Falls in that 1:38 and 1:51

  • I rode for 6 years (then quit for 4) then started up again and now its been a year! right before I quit, i dislocated my shoulder falling off a pony (may have contributed to the quitting as well) and ive also had my fair share of bruises on my horse (looovvesss to buck xD ) but ive also cracked a rib falling on a trail. point is you dont have to be inexperienced to fall. my coach says your not a good rider until youve falen off 100 times.

  • Iv fallen more time than i can remember! =D

  • I WAS HOPING TO SEE SOME RIDERS KILLED IN THIS VIDEO.....99% OF THEM ARE FUCKIN IDIOTS....AND INEXPERIENCED.

  • @Mikeandwendy74 So you're saing 99% of all riders are severely mentally retarded (the actual, non-slang version of the term "idiot') and you hope to see them die? What have we ever done to you? I also find that statistic interesting and would like to know what study you got it from. Did it have the term "fuckin" in it or was that added in by you?

  • @XMissMysticFallsX BAH for christ sakes JUST KIDDIN. BUT whoever thinks you must fall to be a good rider is a stupid bitch. Thats just f'n stupid.

  • @Mikeandwendy74 I do agree with you on that. Sorry about what I said before, I've just run in to some pretty negative people on youtube before and can't stand it when people are so negative.

  • @XMissMysticFallsX I know mee too, I hate when people's ego's are so big, that they say something and its the law. Every situation is different and different approaches are neccesary

  • @LPSchillypup its really not that bad!

  • @Welter8 rlly?!?!? lol it looks like it hurts and trust me i am a jumper too

  • i have been riding for 6 years now ant i hhave never fell! ( yes i do jump and canter im not a baby ) it looks like it hurts to fall and im am sooooooooooooo scared!!!

  • @LPSchillypup i rode for 6 years before my first fall and i've ridden for around 12 years now, yeh sometimes it hurts, but don't be afraid, you just have to get back up and try again, it's all part of riding. No it's not nice to fall but once it happens it becomes less scary over time and you know you'll learn from it (:

  • @ulTraVioleTbbz16 Thank you! you make me fell alot better! :) It might even make me stronger!!!

  • Number one ... freaking learn to ride 'yall. How many of these riders that fell at the rails could canter the ring in BOTH directions with no stirrups and a steady leg? How many spent the time time going over caveletti in two point 'til the whole thing works? Learn leg impulsion before you raise the rails.

Number two: you better become friends with your horse. If your horse bucks, rears, etc. the most stupid thing is to hit it with a crops, spur it, use tye downs. No Battles

  • @tomdebevoise

Most trainers don't teach like that anymore. I knew someone who took lessons for only a week and was jumping 2'.. I was absolutely shocked.

  • @Pintomare11

Dont teach Teach what anymore?, how to move your horse over the rails with impulshion and collection? And where are these 'teachers', have USEQT riders here and their methods have only been accenturated with thngs like yoga, intergral body practices etc. Sorry, there are NO short cuts, you can change the routine and improve the results, but if you are promising to put a dead beginner on a horse and run them over 2' rails, then you are doing this AT THE EXPENSE OF THE HORSE.

  • They say that 7 falls make the rider, but c'mon ladies.. we can fall 7 times in a week. Do we give up? NO! Do we blame the horse? NO! Are we aching? YES! Are we still at the barn whenever we aren't sleeping or working? YES! WE. ARE. EQUESTRIANS!!!

  • 1:37 i hope everything is ok wtih the horse, looks really painfull ://

  • Really good video :-) It deserves even more views! I liked how you stared with amateur riders then finished up with professionals; very meaningful lol.

  • i think if u haven't falling off a horse i say ur not riding enough cuz no ones perfect iv falling off heeps of times nd it only hurt once wen i hit my head on metal but thats my falt i didnt have a helmet on now i ride with my helmet every time i put it on first just in case i forget again :)

  • ;O that one at 1:51 looked so painfull

  • well I didnt think they were fake people :/

  • i feel sorry for the horse that get hurt wile there rider fall off thums up if u agree

  • 0:39 to 0:43 landed on his or feet! lucky

  • I fell off today, riding bareback trotting and well I slid of and landed on my back.. hurts alot now! hahahaha

  • i fel so bad when people fall into jumps

  • in most of these clips horses died

  • @vaughtlindsey No they didn't

  • that horse at 1:39/40 look like it really hurt itself!

  • ive had my horse for a year now and he has bucked me off twice...only after jumping though!

  • woooooooooooooooooooo :P your g8t for makin videeeeo ss

wud u make one for me?

    :P

  • 1:48 broken neck???

  • No lie those falls are like really !!??? You fell those wenrt that crazy..

  • i never fell off before. i slid off but i managed to pull my self back up. but i barrel race. i don't know if that considered a fall or not. i have been riding only for a year and 1/2.

  • This is a good video but i disagree with the point your making that your only a real rider if you frequently fall off. although i dont have a horse of my own i have ridden a lot of tricky horses and been in some very sticky situations and have only managed to fall off once. my point is that i dont think that because i have only fallen off once i think im perfect or im not a real rider :) hope my long rant makes sense.....knowing me it probaby doesnt :P

  • @jessielovesmonty My interpretation is that the video maker wants us to know that (almost) everyone falls off from time to time - whether they're professional or not :)

  • @jessielovesmonty I totally agree but i dont think they meant it as in real RIDERS. i think its just supposed to be a sort of support for people that think they are the only ones who fall off alot. But i think thier point was that 'everyone falls off' not 'you arent a real rider if you dont fall off'. I have fallen off countless times, but i know people who have never fallen off and are very good riders. I'm sure you are too but i just dont think thats what the vid was made for;)

  • @jessielovesmonty this point is completely true! If you are a rider, you will have ridden lots of horses in your life time and will have had at least 1 fall per horse. ( trust me, I'm used to that ). if you are an inexperienced rider, you are likely to have never fallen off yet, and probably have stuck with one kind, gentle horse to your liking just for safety. In my life, I've switched to so many different riding schools that I've rode 10 horses and got bucked off by almost all of them! So ha!

  • @203moviemaker that would be true if i had spent my life riding push button ponies.....but the truth of the matter is that i have ridden over 30 horses and got put on many unpredictable horses. I have had about a billion near falls and have got through them but simply clinging on for dear life (i have since found better ways of staying on) but i am not a beginner i have just been taught good tactics for staying on! So ha to you!

  • @jessielovesmonty I know what your saying but I think its just kind of a horse saying really..I was always told "the more times you fall off the stronger the rider you are" because it shows that your able to get back in the saddle. And I suppose each time you fall off from a horse rearing, bucking or you just losing your balance is an experience to learn from and it teached you what to expect and how you can cope with it...thats just my opinion anyway :)

  • @jessielovesmonty her point is not hat you are only a real rider if you frequintly fall it is that you cannot be a real rider and never fall off in your life

  • ohh its true i remember my 1st fall on my horse he bucked me off cuz we were riding in his paddock. We should have moved the trailer lol :( bad memories and he reared ohhhh gosh i was bad lol :(

  • Respect for the boy who trys jump off

    at 0.50

  • 1:51 : That's gonna hurt in the mornin.

  • makes me laugh when you can see people going "im going to fall..its going to happen...any second....**** it, im bailing out! *jumps out the side door* " Think ive jumped off more times than ive fallen off!

  • 1:29 THOSE JUMPS ARE WAY WAY WAY TO CLOSE!!!! who in hell would jump that!! there were not strides between that!!!! Now if im wrong correct me, I dont think that a very safe jump to be jumping!!!

  • @forthewin906 I was probably suppose to be a bounce. :)

  • @HunterJumper175 True. I didnt think about that Lol ! :D

  • No offence to those people who fall off bare back, but the other day i went on my friends horse with no saddle and no reins, he took off and cantered every where, i stayed on, But he did go to the stable.

  • 1:30..of course the horse refused there wasnt even like one stride between the two jumps

  • @picosee There is this fancy thing called a bouce.. when jumping it is very good for horse and rider to do them..

  • @JumpingHorseyGirl14 edit: Bounce

  • @picosee its called a bounce dip shitt. they arent suppost to have a stride inbetween.

  • @picosee It's a bounce, you take off, land and then immediately take off again.

  • i know we all make mistakes! im sorry but some of thees people realy cant ride!

sorry for the mistakes in the text !

  • 1:38 poneh!!! :O

  • Comment removed

  • lean forwards only once the horse has already jumped and then you wont fall

  • NEAT the one at 1:02 is my friends clip! lol I've ridden him before

  • Really good vidio

  • I have never seen a horse refuse a jump in the middle of a bounce....unheard of really. That horse is going to cause a major life threatening accident, or the trainer pushed the horse too fast, and didn't practice over poles first.

  • This is the video I show to my parents when they say "riding is an activity".

  • One word: Ow.

  • Gut gemacht!

  • Why do so many people not use ground poles? Doesn't that make it harder for the horse to judge the jump?

  • 2:10 - don't think that horse was looking where he was going.;)

  • Okay you must never hold on the reins when you fall off. The horse will obey and trample over you if you pull hard enough when you fall. Never put out your arms when your falling unless you REALLY need to. I did fall off on 90cm and try landing on your bottom. Yeah a bit of pain in the morning, but nothing hopfully bad will happen. Horses never mean for you to fall off. They have bad days too you know. Be carefull to all horse riders that do more of a dangerous sport. No pain no gain. Be happy!!

  • @posspig i agree with the first thing (reins) cause i tried and my baby girl 17 hand mare stepped on my head and gave me a concusion. the second thing, while i was falling off from a 3'9" jump, i still tucked and rolled and that saved my life, i was able to roll enough so she didn't step on my neck and kill me. My twin sister has broken her humerus and radius 6 times trying to catch herself with her hands, yeah you can catch yourself but be prepared to be in a cast for 2 months and not ride :'(

  • Gutes Video (:

  • so true.. i hv soem of me actually falling off when iwas little and when my bro almost broke his hip fallin off my palimino

  • Well, if this happens to you semi-regularly, please seek professional assistance. Many of the falls appear to be due to lack of experience and training.

  • LOL!! 0:26

Dog: "Woah there, are you okay??!! *Slobber*"

  • ouch.... :)

  • 1:52 i have a feeling somebody broke their neck tht day!

  • 1:30 my horse has done tht to me b4! i just didnt fall of... :/

  • I agree ive fallen 5 times in the past 8 years of my riding career

  • @leeromig seriously ?!

I've had 6 legit falls and 1 dumb one where i was goofin around, and slipped off my horse lol

    i've been riding for 2 1/2 years

  • Nope, not me. I NEVER fall. :)

    ...... jk lol

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO =(

  • Ich glaube du solltest mal mein Muskeln aufbauen!( Kniebereich) Ich weiß von was ich rede :)

  • I was training for competition reining when the horse I was on decided she wanted to buck from a standstill (we found out from the vet later that she was crazy. Literally) I rode her to the middle of the arena where I jumped off... And turned to see her jumping 3 feet off the ground lol My teacher asked me why I had jumped off, said it was the best damn riding he'd ever seen lol

  • cont... 1:49 she looks like she is pretty good jumper.. just a tip... let the horses movement push you up into two point instead of lifting yourself. and others that i dont feel like explaining.

  • k so there are so many things wrong with these videos I would say about 50% of them are of people who totally completely diserved to fall off.... sorry i dont usually do this but that is just ridiculous...0:30 she didnt even canter until like one stride away and didnt go into point and dont even get me started on 1:14... she is jumping a pretty advanced jump and she doesnt understand anything about striding that horse didnt know how to jump that cause it was clearly too high for either of them..

  • 1:30 riders fault she leaned up the horses neck

  • its true everyone falls. ive been workin with horses and trainin them for about a year now and fallen off atleast 7 times. my worst fall was when i was galloping on my horse in my english saddle, im used to western, and she put her head down and i thought she was going to buck, i dont think she was though. I flipped over her shoulder and almost broke my neck. amazingly my horse came back to me when i called for her. my neck was in so much pain and i got on a plane the next day. what fun! NOT!

  • one time i fell the horse triped and went flying forword i went flying to

  • could i use some of these in my video? youll get credit!

  • the one at 1.52 looked really sore :/

  • @12Hollyster i thought he/she broke their neck! I hope they are okay!!!

  • the most gonna stand up to early and others dont make their sadle tight like 1.47

  • the one at 1:47 was really bad.

  • haha!!! People r like, "Helmets r 4 LOZERZ!!" HAHAHAHAH!!! now those ppl r dead!!!

  • I've only fallen off once! My little pony (not really mine) bucked me off after galloping around the ring a hundred time trying to when it finally happened

  • 1:51 brocken neck!!!

  • CrazyHorseGrl222 Dat komt niet eens uit!!

  • i have a fall named after me so ya and sujustion dont do a 360 when falling

  • the fall at 0.30 was a little shocking!

  • PEICE OF ADVICE TO ALL RIDER: DO NOT STICK YOUR ARMS OUT WHEN FALLING! THAT IS HOW YOU BREAK IT, TUCK AND ROLL DAMMIT. TUCK. AND. ROLE!!! trust me, my sis broke her arm 3 time!!!

  • @horseLove322

u have a really good peice of advice there but u have to admit tht wen ur falling off of a horse u dont really have time to think were u put ur hands and arms and everything else !! xxxxxxx

  • @horseLove322 I tucked and rolled and I ended up breaking my collar bone... -____-

there really is no safe way to land..

  • @HanoverianLove1 kool..........

  • @horseLove322 thats what i always try to do but darn gravity seems to always try and pull my arms out! lol

  • @ArabianImages ikr?!?!

  • @horseLove322 its hard to tuck and role it goes to fast to remember you throw your arms out automatically

  • @shazz635 well then learn how to fall......

  • @horseLove322 Sometimes we can't decide that we shall stick out the arm when falling of the horse, it is a reaction the human body does on its own, we can't control it. The same thing happens if you falls at the ground, you stick out your arm without even realizing it.

  • @BlackCeroOscuras oh.....well i taught myself well....... i recently fell and i was unconcious but i still tucked and rolled

  • @BlackCeroOscuras You're right. It's an automatic response of the nervous system. The message travels only to the brain stem and back to the body with the aim being to protect the face at all costs, even if it means breaking an arm. Then the message makes it to the brain, and message is returned, "Ouch!" and "Oops!" To us it seems instantaneous, but there is a logic to this method in our amazing human body. You can't outthink biology...unless you have more time.

  • @horseLove322 no, actually you want to go as limp as a rag doll. It lessons the impact, and trust me, I have fallen many many times, and this really helps :)

  • @reininghorses57 i know, mean go loose and tuck your head in your stomach, fyi this was two months ago...

  • @horseLove322 oh, ok :) yah i know it was 2 months ago, so what? Do you own a horse? Or do you take lessons?

  • @reininghorses57 both you?

  • @horseLove322 I dont currently own one, he recently got sold :( but We are looking for a new one :) I ride western, reining. you? what's your horses name?

  • @reininghorses57 My horse's name is Erin, she is a grey thourobred mare. We are currently doing 3'6" big eq and schooling 3'9" i have no videos of her quite yet though :(

  • omg. @1:49 - was she okay?

  • Everyone falls. Some things that you can do to improve your balance are: riding without stirrups, jumping without stirrups(on jumps you know the horse is least likely to not spook on), ride bareback, and exercise and condition in core, quad, and calf muscles. It's helped me so much for my balance on a horse doing those. Just be careful if the horse falls!!! My trainer taught me these tricks to do, and we only do them 2 lessons every month! So good luck, just thought I'd give you some tips!! (:

  • 1:50...EW. 0.0

  • on one of them the horse is like i will jump this one you jump the next, ok?

  • The one 1:36 looks reaaally bad :S

  • @amt1310 do you mean the horse is a bad horse or it looks like he hurt himself really bad??...because it wasn't at ll the horse's fault he just tripped

  • @happyhorse362 No I thought it looks like he hurt himself really bad :/ I've seen that he just tripped^^

  • lol you can't learn without some fails!

but i will say i love my horse, fallen off her maybe twice and reach time she never just walks off XD last time she nuzzled me while i was on the floor (i took that as in "hey howd you get down there?")

simple fact: those that ride horses are humans and no human is perfect!

also horse have brains!!! (GASP!!!) so its not always the riders fault too. people that dont know should just keep quite

  • Love 2:09.

The horse: 'Alright, canter, canter, canter -- shoot forgot to jump'

  • @AimingforLess Wait there was a jump there? Oops XD

  • great vid! soo truuee! lol if i wud have known u were making this i cud have given you footage! i fall off WAYY too mucchh :p

  • in the 4 years i have been horseirding i hav never ever fallen off i swear

  • Comment removed

  • awww my frnd flew her warm blood across jumps and almost krippled him cuz hes to young to jump cuz he aint fully developedyet and i loooovvve her horse alot more than she knows <3 memphis so wierd ive been riding for 2 years and still havent fallen off lolz

  • awww my frnd flew her warm blood across jumps and almost krippled him cuz hes to young to jump cuz he aint fully developedyet and i loooovvve her horse alot more than she knows <3 memphis

  • Omgsh.....was the person from 1:52 ok?

  • Ouch! Just goes to show, some people think horse riding is cruel, but many of these ponies/horses show, no matter how good a rider you are, if they want you off, they will get you off!!!

  • When you say 'real falls from real people' What else is it going to be? Some kids doll ona plastic horse falling off? Ofcourse its gonna be real! x

  • 1:51-og God, did she break her neck??:O
