thats because of a reason that most mishima players play street fighter.... an EWgf is like a Shoryuken.... and kazuya is one of the weakest, hard to master characters in tekken 5 and tekken 5 DR
@rielax04 The ewgf is 100xtimes harder to master than to simply do a shoryuken. Mishima players do not play street fighter, as Mishima players are experts at spacing (wavedash, backdashcancel etc) this spacing does not exist in SF.
@MitsuGTO885 no I think it is not. i usually played street fighter back then, but when i switched to tekken, they say perform an ewgf, i did in my first try, and it was in player 1. for real. and kazuya is the weakest that's true, why? his moves are so predictable coz his moves does not change that much since tekken tag and his moves are fewer than the other mishimas. what i was saying, take Ryan hart for example and main street ryu, they play street fighter. we all have diff opinions. hehehe

@rielax04 Well Heihachi's u/f+3,4 has + frames on block because its a very risky move. If you simply sidestep it he is dead, you can launch punish him.
You can even jab him out of it for a juggle when he jumps.
Thats what gives the game a lot of depth, all the moves have weaknesses.
Devil Jins grab was very cheap in DR, this time though he has nothing guaranteed afterwards, not even d/b+2 (tekken 6)

Personally, and not going against anyones opinion here cuz i know you might thumb this comment down, i think Hwoarang matches to Kazuya respectively i mean, if you look at it, Kazuya is pretty hard to control, then again you have Hwoarang's just frame to quickly counter some of Kazuya's moves. Yes, Hwoarang may be at a disadvantage, it just all falls down to knowing what to do at the right time and how to implement positive frame traps into your strategy. So, this topic is up for debate.
it's not that he failed, it's that he decided not to because Hwoarang was too far away to do the ewgf. Doing a lightdash into ewgf would have taken too long, also. So he knew that just a crouchdash into a regular wgf is the best option during that situation.
