This looks like the exact same spot i went tonight and parked my car and dropped $2 loonie there and the meter didnt register anything. The coin wasnt going in smoothly and seemed like stuck... i pushed it in and even the the meter wasnt responding. Maybe this guy destroyed it?
@hemantrocks it probably was. I was walking home from work today and I saw crews out repairing all the meters in the area.
They say it's pretty common. They stick a straw down the coin slot so that coins get stuck. Then they come retrieve them later. If you ever see it you should call 911 and report it.
