  • Zeidguig, you are the best!!!Thank you very much!!!

    Carmen

  • I remember seeing you on Aussie TV back in the 90s and nearly rupturing myself with laughter. Thanks for posting!

  • I am a firm believer that more pianists should play with their nose.

In all seriousness, your ingenuity is refreshing and brilliant. This reminds me of Tommy Emmanuel: when he plays the guitar, he uses *everything*, not just the strings! True performers take advantage of everything they have, and they're way too rare!

  • Legendary!

  • Zeidwig- Just saw you perform on the ship "Slendour of the Seas" You were the best!! I laughed so hard. You kept me on the edge of my seat the entire show. You're just fabulous!! Thanks a million for the laughs. Where can I buy your DVD? You were gone when I came back to buy it. Thanks for making our cruise so incredible!

  • Thank you. You are incredibly supportive!

  • Mitchell Zeidwig is the BEST. What an incredible show.

  • The falling down is so funny!!! It's like SPLAT and he's on the floor :D And the playing behind his back and turning the pages with his feet, just blows me away! The Victor Borge of physical musical comedy!

BTW, what's being played from 1:46 to 2:50... is it Ave Maria? Which suite/etude/opus...? (Bach or Schubert?) Help?

  • Thank you so much. The Ave Maria is by Charles Gounod.

  • Thanks for the info! I've just found the free sheet music online for piano and flute, but I'll learn the piano part and play the flute part on the electric... hope I'll manage to upload it too :D Oh, the Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue - my fav part is in this vid :) lucky coincidence...

  • This is SOOO funny! I played the polonaise he played at the beginning, when he fell off the bench off like that, I nearly fell off my own chair LAUGHING! That was GREAT! Thanks for the post!

  • Thank you!

  • I have a question. Are you ZeidwiG? The way you have your account set up and the way you talk, I almost am thinking you are?

  • Yes I am, and?

  • Really!? :) I just want to say, I think what you do is so refreshing! I was reading up on you and I can't believe you decided you wanted to do this while skiing in your late teens! You don't fit the normal mold at all. I like that a lot. I was wondering if you would want to be friends? We can always use another friend :)

  • Thank you so much, and sure, I can always use another friend as well!

  • I think my previous comment was wiped by the technology! Anyway, well done 5 stars 'awesome'!

  • I have been teaching Piano for over 25 years and I've never seen anything like this before! Well worth 5 stars and 'awesome' rating! P.S. I had tea with Earl Okin today who pointed me in your direction!

  • Thank you so much. Earl is simply the greatest!

  • This video never ceases to amaze me. I appreciate it more and more as I watch it, and it's so great at relieving any stress...especially the musical ones...:)

I would pay anything to see something like this live.

  • Again, coming from an artist as great as you this compliment is especially rewarding! Thank you.

  • It was great meeting you as well at "The Lodge" at Pebble Beach. Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope to see all of you again soon -- and to see your artwork of course!

  • Great to see the clips. You taught me the nose trick in Bermuda at Lawrence Dill's and I recreate it for my friends all the time. My parents went to see you again last week and really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting the clips. PGraham.

  • Wow! Thanks to both you and your parents. Are you still in Bermuda? It is absolutely wonderful here!

  • Living in Northern Ireland now but going to move back to Bermuda in a few years. How about a tour to the UK? Belfast in particular?

  • It was a pleasure working with you sir!

  • Likewise, thank you!

  • incrivel

  • TY. I hope that the Spanish word is a positive one.

  • If I could have saved this video to my "favorites" every time I have watched it, all I would have stored there is this phenomenal sample of Mitchell Zeidwig's artistry.

  • Wow! Thank you. I will accommodate.

  • Your talent is such a treasure that you generously share through this wonderful channel. Our family, together with our friends enjoyed your video thoroughly! Thank you.

  • Overwhelming! Thank you.

  • Absolutely Genius!! I saw Zeidwig in Branson, MO and he has a talent not ever compared for comedy, skill and ability.I feel if he had taken on classical music as his primary, he would be one of the most renowned pianist in the world.

    cmarkin, Branson, MO

  • Now, thanks to your comment I may finally switch primaries and come back to Branson with no more prancin'

  • You haven't seen anything yet! Just kidding. Actually, we all have such talent. Thank you again.

  • Lovely to see those hands rippling over those ivories, such talent is amazing. Well done!!

  • It is wonderful to see your talent on this video. Wondercul to be able to laugh all the way through a performance. Keep going as yo are terrific & I and my family just love it. Thank you

  • Thank you. You are most kind. I see that you are from the UK. That amongst other things means a lot at this particular time.

  • Absolutely Genius!!

  • Wow! Thank you. It is most appreciated.

  • You are welcome! What I saw in that video goes beyond any words, actually.

  • Coming from you, just now seeing the fantastic pianist you are means a great deal! Thank you once again.
