Rhythm too strict and accents placed on wrong notes+ sounds dynamics too loud and brutal.Rubato which is A CHARACTERISTIC of the romantic period,and defining feature of Chopin's music is completely absent.It sounds as if a machine is playing it.Even if I never listened to Chopin playing it personally, the loadz of litterature about his playing and his phylosophies about piano playing definitly would classified this performance as bad.Timbre of the piano is interesting.

Eine interessante bildliche Interpretation. Welche Wirkung diese Anordnung wohl hätte, stünde man z.B unter der Wirkung von Marihuana. Betrachte man dabei vor allem die schnellen Bildwechsel.

Sollte bei Zeiten mal an Hand eines Selbstversuchs getestet werden.

They always sound like someone who's seen Chopin, Beethoven or Mozart live and know exactly how a piece should be played.

As someone said it, everyone's got a personal interpretation.

If you don't like this, browse among other 5000 pianists who've played this piece and find "your" version.

Better yet, DO your version. This one is my motivation to play the piano, for example.

@cocozin Of course every one has a right to express themselves, but to me the funniest part about the criticism is that I get the feeling that so many of the critics don't even play a musical instrument. Otherwise, they WOULD be making their own versions.

Sounds corny, but I wish would be a little more "supportive" instead of intensely critical. I'm an adult beginner and give credit to any pianist who dedicates their life to this highly complex and often lonely endeavor.
